I dont mind it, but I think a more rambunctious instrumental could really bring it up to a brassy southern showstopper of a rendition. At the moment it just feels a bit like a lesser (but still fun) version of the homecoming CiL arrangement but without the fun of the back that azz up sample

I think so!

 

I'll always take any CIL I can get (it's her signature hit), but I don't totally "get" what she + her MD were thinking with this iteration. Same with Heated. 

Actually on second thought, I didn't even realize how short CIL was on this tour.

I would imagine it being more profitable in the US/Europe would be a reason she doesn't feel the need to tour elsewhere

Also yeah the slow CIL and Heated are meh… we need that spark, fire and  jump from those. 

She should have included Cuff It, Energy, and Break My Soul from Renaissance Tour.

I think that'll come back for Act III's tour. Something about BMS feels like a full circle moment.

im sorry but that CIL mix is by far the worst rendition, it's even worse live when you hear how quiet the audience gets cause they dont know what's going on

I mean. . . I'm at least 60% she's tried or probably has made strides to fit certain markets into her schedule. 
 

She's made it pretty clear her children, husband and a normal life are her first priority and her touring schedule is strictly for US/EU. I personally believes it gives her the freedom to tour with her children in the midst of summer, while still hitting guaranteed profitable markets.
 

Yes, Rio could sell out for 1-2 dates, but downsizing her show by a significant scale to appease one market she hasn't toured in 12 years isn't ideal. Some ppl have mentioned the logistics of it all, but we can't take into account how much she'd have to compromise for 2.5-3 hours of pleasure. It's just not ideal in the midst of a stadium tour. 
 

The only way to fully bring her vision to life, she'd need to schedule a standalone show or cave in to a festival date, and I believe she's knows that and has been working on it. Her making RWT premiere and appearance such a big deal was not her going there for 30 minutes of fun. Unfortunately, Rio is the only market I can get extending to. I don't think we'll have to wait too long either❗️

Ugh I feel so conflicted about this track because I absolutely love the melody, the production and the verses but the chorus is just not doing it for me

Frankly this IIWAB is the best rendition she's done of the song so far for me. I wish she did it longer. 

I really appreciate that she is doing the studio version. For her hits, or songs like these (I am side) and those in CC, there's really no need to make new arrangements or mix it with other songs.
