That's not what I got from it. She's had a concept for 14 years but it's basically rewritten and redone into a whole new song. He said basically the background ya-ya ya ya-ya's are kept and tbh if you isolate just that you can sense it has 4 era vibes.

I love how Beychella is always the conversation every year for  almost a decade. With stans of other girls wishing they can have their momenT and it just is not happening

I remember someone in her team, or close to her circle, years ago, saying that B is always recording, and always recording multiple records. She's never in the studio for a set period for a set project. She's always looking for ideas and sounds. Slowly over time the music coalesces into a project. 
 

It also makes me think - if she recorded the three acts during the pandemic - imagine how much more music she's accumulated in the five years since

she needs to cut out this whole only at ultra ****. she makes the product so inaccessible to people outside of the states, it is ridiculous.

The underlined part is honestly cracking me up because of how true it is. Minimalist staging aside, she even opted against on screen visuals despite how much she'd spent 2014-2017 incorporating it into all her performances. Goes to show you that once you've got a brilliant mind and undeniable talent, you can't help but have the end result be far greater than the sum of its parts

 

Not a critique on anyone else's performance though because I also enjoy seeing how far forward technology and spectacle continues to push live entertainment
