I don't think it's a matter of not wanting a tour, I think the strategy of more dates in fewer cities is a losing one, combined with the outrageous prices and economic collapse we all saw coming.  Like imagine if Atlanta night 4 was a stop in New Orleans, Dallas, Charlotte, Miami, etc. Or if instead of as many LA dates, we had a date in the Bay area...

You are crazy, it's sold over a million tickets already and per date will outgross all of her other tours :rip:

I will say that the economy might put a damper on the rest of those tickets, thanks aren't looking good

that literally means nothing when all her other tours weren't this expensive and weren't struggling this hard either :rip:

The only thing I will say about the tour is that she could have the same amount of dates in the same cities but distributed differently and have them all be close to selling out by now with same high prices. (-1 in Vegas, Atlanta and New York; +1 in Paris, Houston and Chicago)

OTRII had way more shows struggling 😭 capacity was limited at so many shows.

And even if it doesn't then what? It cant be backtracked at this point; the 91% sold out dates will still happen. How many times are yall going to keep bringing up the same point?

Regardless of what fans and haters say about the CC Tour, in the end it's going to sellout and be one of the highest grossing tours ever.

:rip:

Like Renaissance Tour was called a flop, not selling out, empty seats and etc yet it became the highest grossing female tour ever.

well that too, the entire organization of this tour was a mess, from the botched announcement to the art book fraud to the unflattering poster.

it all boils down to the fact that a tour themed around an album people repeatedly said no to was a hard sell from the beginning. add to that the fact that she does virtually nothing to make people excited (or even let them know) about her insanely expensive tour and you have a recipe for some mess.

she should've either gotten people excited about this since day one or moved on to the next album and toured that :suburban:

Where are you basing all your findings on? The pre-RWT Renaissance era was also really dry besides the Dubai performance.

OTRII looked embarrassing at more than one date and also had like 50 shows, there's no reason for a tiny 29 date tour to be struggling this bad.

besides, do you want this tour to look like OTR II ? cause i sure don't :deadbanana:

I was just responding to your lie that CCT is struggling harder than any of her other tours when it's not.

Anyhow: this eventually sold-out tour will rake in about $400 million. With a slightly different strategy from Live Nation, the exaggerated discourse about 'empty seats' wouldn't have been able to even exist.

Can we now move on to discussing something else… like today I've been obsessed with Echoville, probably the visual component of the trilogy, again.

where's the lie ? :rip: OTR II had like 50 dates, no new album and her hated husband attached to it.

if anything CC struggling this hard with only 29 dates in just 3 countries, a big hit, an aoty win and a halftime show promo spot is doing just as bad if not worse.

Sis OTR2 struggled so much they rush released EIL to help with slow ticket sales :jonny2:

Last time I'll talk about CCT today, but like I said I was responding to your "weren't struggling this hard either" which is a lie. Maybe, like you're now saying, circumstances were not in her favor with OTRII (she did have Beychella, though), but that still doesn't mean OTRII wasn't struggling harder, because it was. :coffee2:

If we're talking tours, we should really be more worried about the fact the economy is going to be so bad act iii may not even get one, and it probably has the potential to be the best out of all three.

This is what happens when you stretch a three act project out over 5-6 years.  I'm not even dissing her for it, but there are so many variables you can't predict.

nobody ever said OTR II wasn't a flop for her standards. but failing to sell out a much smaller tour with less dates, a bigger album/songs and all the goodwill from Ren is the definition of "struggling harder". and that's without counting the sheer amount of resale tickets available.

don't come crying when the black drapes make an appearance and they start handing out tickets in stadium parking lots again :rip:
