"When no one believed, when Bills Bills was created", that's so me, the fights with family members and friends saying she will never make it, then talking about how despicable she was for being always front and center, then DC will flop now that the other members went away, that her solo career will flop, B'Day, Illuminati conspiracies, etc I've been there through it all.

So are we thinking there is room for an extra 4 or 5 shows in London and 2 more for Paris? The only show that works with my work timeline and flights from Australia is the second Paris date. Also Ima need one of you to help with the French spelling for the Club Renaissance equivalent. For RWT we rocked up at the Marseilles show early morning to get good GA spots only to find out we were seated. The English translator did us dirty. Luckily we got club ren for Barcelona.

To be fair.

I think the haters/racist are a loud minority.

These people live to online and leave hateful comments while engaging in ragebait.

A lot of them are Trump supporters who are grappling with the actions of their consequences and letting their anger out on social media because it's all they know.

Coupled with the fact that they already like go blame all their problems on minorities on a good day.

I make money on social media and engagement = money.

It doesn't matter what kind of comment you leave as long as you click/comment on/look at the post, that is engaging. It's why you see so much ragebait from influencers.

The haters are essentially helping Bey with promo and it equates to her getting paid.

They wanna come for Mr Sean Carter all the time, but let's be real:

He is the BIGGEST advocate for equal opportunity. His work with the NFL and selection of SB performers as well as his influence on the Grammys speak a CLEAR language.

 

I would even go as far as saying that we can all thank him for his relentlessness behind the scene cause i doubt Kendrick wouldve won as big as he did if it wasnt for Jay. There's been a clear shift, and Jay is to thank for that.

I think London June 8th will be added and Paris June 22nd. Maybe an extra London if they sell out fast.

You do know that studios run ads on ish like this? Same with labels and music videos.

 

I'm not buying that The Weeknd did 12 million on a trailer in one day when his music videos from the era are barely scraping 10 million. He's a big artist and his album is about to do numbers, but a quick look-see at his Youtube shows that the numbers don't add up for this to be legit. His video with Anitta (who streams big) is at 30 million after three months and this trailer supposedly has almost half of that in... one day? That pretty much spills on when it's marketing spend vs organic views. 

 

It also may be the Jenna Ortega / Barry Keoghan factor.

 

Abel aside, different artists have different levels of potency depending on the platform. 

 

Bey definitely does numbers on IG and performs solidly across her other mediums. She'll be fine.

I think most of its songs are great individually, she has some masterpieces on it (Love on Top, Party, I Care, I Miss You, Countdown), but as one full piece of work, it might have been better than some nominees, but it's not exactly AOTY-worthy imo. It was her most artful to date, but there was still a sheen from her Mathew Knowles days that once shed with BEYONCÉ, set her album making apart from the industry AND especially, herself... Lemonade, The Gift, RENAISSANCE, COWBOY CARTER even EVERYTHING IS LOVE all showcase a better understanding of and an ease at album-making as an artform. With 4 it felt more like she recorded a bunch of songs then decided which to put on the album, with those that came next, it at least feels like she went in with a clear vision of what she wanted to say/do from the start and that's why the results are always so unified and clear. And if she didn't, then she did the work to unify them after the fact which is important.

 

 

That's an interesting take.

 

I believe 4 was a showcase of her musical genius and who she is an artist, musician, and vocalist. All tracks boast intricate and complex production and vocal arrangement, which doesn't seem the case with most of ST and Lemonade. Let's be honest now.

And again, I'm not surprised that Beyoncé continues to pay homage to 4, whether it's by reaffirming its legacy through interviews or by performing most songs off it. Hell, the "Renaissance World Tour" could have easily been renamed the "4 World Tour" at this point. On the other hand, she got rid of Lemonade as soon as she could. It may remind her of painful memories, sure, but it's interesting to analyze how she moves.

 

I also reckon she simply didn't overthink anything about the 4 recording session. It all stemmed from her heart.

I've watched Beyoncé Bowl so many times that it's jarring to hear "spin me in the middle, boy" on the album now. Ma'am, the lyrics are Spin me in the middle, Blue. Please fix it.
