Vocally, CC might be her best album I fear. Like as much as ST is my all time fav, the vocals were chillin and low register for the most part (aside from some background harmonies).. I feel this helps her tremendously in that category.

the instrumentation is so full too, I still think its top 3 for Bey

the tea is, anyone who LOVES music deeply or knows/makes music appreciated Beyoncé's work. she never takes shortcuts, everything is meticulously planned, studied, cited and referenced in ways that would put AP US History books to shame.

 

she's the first BLACK WINNER, male or female, of the Country Album award. breaking barriers, in this environment where tension among different races is high, comes with backlash. white people in this country are losing their majority and attempting to hold on to their role as the oppressor in new ways, like the culture wars, transphobia, religion etc.

Let us be real here these albums are leagues above the others. SELF TITLED and LEMONADE are spectular and ST is my personal fave album and era but act i and ii are in a whole different stratosphere of artisty.
