What happened to the 795% boost? I'm seeing like a 250% boost

And Bruno covered All I Ask and it went viral (song has 700 million streams too)

Bruno Mars actually co-wrote this song :penguin: so he's getting paid by promoting it

Personally, I think the tracklist for each act are intentional. Renaissance had a seamless flow, like a DJ mixing songs in a club. On the other hand, Cowboy Carter, feels more like listening to the radio which can be unpredictable at times and go from a rock to rap song depending on the station. That was evident with the smoke hour, as the album gradually picks up pace. That run from levii Jeans to Amen is chef's kiss imo.

And the flow of act iii will be that of a live concert :clap3:

I like that concept. It's kinda what YA YA is. She starts the song like it's a live performance. Maybe it was supposed to be on act iii but she moved to act ii because of the election year

IASF is always going to win

And when she debuts Act3 live, then WHAT? WHAT IF THATS THE NETFLIX DEAL? :jonny5:

i've always had a theory that Beyonce always has a track that foreshadows the next album's direction

the only disruption was Lemonade & Renaissance but now that we know CC was meant to be released first...DL being the prelude makes sense.

all of that to say...i think "Ya Ya" serves as the prelude here

COWBOY CARTER is amazing the way it is. If you can't concentrate on the music, go scroll TikTok

We are her base, we all agree, now back to the GP, who we want to stream the album....

Yall sound old and out of touch.

How are yall saying the CC track list is messy and doesn't transition? Yes obviously by nature of the genre and style of most of the songs it won't transition like a underground DJ set.

But you can't tell me the opening of PROTECTOR with Rumi asking to stay to hear "the lullaby," to the end of the song with Beyoncé saying ok, to then transition to the next song which is literally a beautiful lullaby about Sir (:chick3:). That that's not a GREAT transition and thoughtful track listing choice!?

It is gorgeous, that's not the issue.

The issue is THAT amount of slow songs at the beginning of an album like CC (AFTER RENAISSANCE) and from Beyonce.

It turned people off, the second section shouldve come first, not the slow section.

I don't have an issue with the flow, the album is just too long for the GP.

That said, I am glad it exists in the way that it does. It feels like a movie :allears:

What we will NOT do in this base is come for ALBUM OF THE YEAR 2025, Ms Cowboy Carter, 2 days after its win.

Ok? Ok?!?

I don't think the tracklist critique was about the album quality or to knock it down but more so to explain why it's not as undemanding of a listen as Reneigh

I like the two albums being different so Idc and I listen to music for enjoyment but from a marketing perspective I understand what @satellites.™ is saying.

The shows for Vegas are still to be announced, likely at the end of the tour, and I'm pretty sure they're gonna be live-streamed on Netflix. They're really trying to push they live segment.

Her debuting it in the sphere would probably be the most epic live performance shes ever done. That would literally prolapse my bussy

Iʻve been manifesting a Sphere performance since the Sphere was announced! If it actually happens, I donʻt think my soul can handle it.

What story would this album tell if all the contemporary to genre-bending country songs starts the album? Most of the songs in the second half would turn off the GP immediately...

I'm 25.:agaycatabra:

She shouldn't make albums that would be easy for GP to listen to. If she did that, no one would think of her as an artist we all think she is. And the GP would quickly forget about her and replace her with another. She has her reputation for a reason.

Also, LEMONADE is short and faster songs start right after the opener, but no one's streaming it. It just shows that people listen to hits, and also that she doesn't have a strong presence on Spotify. Those albums aren't even meant to be streaming giants. They are meant to tell a story and send a message, and they're among the best albums that do that. If she removed some of the songs from COWBOY CARTER, it wouldn't be the same. Some people in the last couple of days were suggesting that JOLENE and DAUGHTER shouldn't be on the tracklist. But if you take those two songs out, BODYGUARD loses meaning it has when it is followed by those songs. So, every song on this album is there because it tells a part of the story and has meaning in the context of the album. If GP doesn't like that, they can stream Die With a Smile (no shade, I love that song).

EDIT: I Am... Sasha Fierce starts with slow songs and it's Bey's most commercially successful album. So, that point is proven false by multiple arguments.

100% agree.

i cannot listen from track 2 to almost 10 (id only keep bodyguard) cuz of how slow it is but you know what?

its the way she made it and she's the artist and she's the AOTY winner we all gon STFU and fight for these CC Tour tickets.
