dont forget Harry is currently smashing everywhere on all fronts with As it Was as well, he's experiencing his main pop boy era. Again, Bey is turning 41 in several months, hasn't released anything in years, hasn't played the streaming game.. Keep expectations low for your own sake. Doing like 150k-200k would be just fine

Kendrick's recent numbers look disappointing, but he never released physicals, it was all streaming. That's after about 5 years though.

 

Beyoncé I think would do a nice 200k-300k range. She's not current anymore but she'll always have touring.

Why would Beyoncé retire before Jay Z? make it make sense lol. Some of y'all are losing it and saying anything. At this point of her career, where she is doing business and music, she is not in music for the profit anymore but it's a nice bonus and it's sharing her art, performing and connecting with the public that motivates her and i dont see Bey shutting that down forever. Why would she? she can balance it all and she will continue to do so. Those who are still interested in the ride will check her out and those who check out, well i dont think that will bother her either, it has been a long ride, for someone whose career started in 1996, she has already won.

While I think total retirement is far fetched and doesn't align with what she said this next chapter of life would be, I can easily see her marketing it as her last release for a while. A "want to explore new challenges, enjoy family, and get re-inspired" tea. 

 

She's had an "angle" with her last few big releases, so if she's skewing light and breezy with B7 I can see her playing the "this is it for a while" card to still have an angle. 

 

It could all be total conjecture, but it's a smart move to help eventize B7, ensure the biggest tour ever, and also free herself up to tap out of the rat race a bit more. I can't think of a Pop girl or guy who's had such an iconic run of successive albums (and that's not even factoring in DC). 

 

I can really see her scaling back (even more) to properly focus on Parkwood's other acts, new non-music biz ventures, and family. 

 

The only reason this feels a lil far fetched is that if/when it comes the time for Bey to do this, I'm not sold on the idea that she'd tell us verbatim. She'd just do it. Also, silence on the matter helps the hype for the inevitable/eventual return...just ask Rihanna.

I don't think she's retiring anytime soon but she will focus on her family and other business ventures, there's more to come she told in that harpers bazaar interview. Music will always be her passion but I have a strong feeling that she will take more time with her music and art and that she will not put out music so fast after B7 and focusing on other things instead. 

I don’t think she will straight up retire, but I think 5+ years between solo albums will be her new norm. I’m certain she will dabble In side projects and features and also just expanding her business so that it’s not so reliant on the music side. IVy Park ain’t goin nowhere ?

U dont seem to get the unpredictability of a Newcomer sweeping. No one couldve predicted Olivia Rodrigo and Billie Eilish coming in the way they did. She can wait now and in 2023 shes possibly going up against the comeback of Rihanna who will honestly most likely demolish with new material (commercially as well as critically). Like others said, she won't win it in this lifetime.
