Tbh if B7 promo mimics Lemonade I wouldn’t be upset. I love that she gave each song its own moment/performance.

I know this award is a joke but the point is, she has cemented herself in history with the likes of Whitney and Lauryn. And on top of that she won an award for a genre that completely ridiculed and ex

I know we don't get to have what we "want" with fave and it's fine but I wish that whatever type of sound she decides to come up with for B7, she doesn't neglect her fans and the GP. I know she is a mother of 3 and therefore she has other things to do but it's been while since we've had an "era", I miss that.

This is why I’m 50/50 on her doing visual albums. Part of me thinks she’s done 3 great visual projects and its kinda exhausted now. The other part of me thinks if she chooses to spend more time parenting and decrease promo for the album – the visual albums do come in handy. :deadbanana:

But I also have to remind myself Bey (and other artists we grew up on) aren’t giving much promo since they already made a name for themselves. So promo naturally decreased unless the album is a huge smash.

Bey without a visual blockbuster wont happen. She clearly LOVES the visual component of her output and is very invested in delivering that.

What we can all agree on is that the "im dropping all by surprise at the same time"-shtick is TIRED. Innovation is clearly needed to make us interested in whatever she cooks up

It’s giving farewell album and retirement (or hiatus for 10 years). :biblionny:

His entire career and life? Girl...

If it's indeed her entire career and life then the rumor about retirement might hold some truth. I am not excited about it.

Shed set everything in place for a BEYONCE musical a la Tina Turner then and might aim for a Tony Award. I don't know how to feel about that either, I doubt shed completely retire.. but.. yeah.. somehow I wouldnt be shocked

Omg I didn't think of that ? I'm not excited anymore ?

Could u imagine how insane it would be to try and get tickets for a farewell Tour by Beyonce? The bloodbath

“Reflection of her life and career” instantly gives retirement vibes lol.

As long as its a 2-year stadium tour. :giraffe:

That way everyone can see her. But lemme not entertain this retirement concept yet. :deadbanana:

Stop. I don’t wanna think about that:chick3:

If we can use her own history to explain her current actions, the last time she made such an effort to consolidate her career and reflect on it was roughly 10 years ago (which at the time was 10 years since her debut) when she made the Pepsi commercial and Life is But A Dream both of which reminded fans/the public of her iconic moments and offered insight to her personal life and what it was like prior to fame/building up to it.

SO, perhaps we don't look at this rumour as evidence of a retirement, but of her wanting to yet again remind everyone who she is (and after a 6 year solo album wait), and wanting to solidify her career in such a way that allows her to be anchored to it while also pushing against it and redefining what she is in this moment.

I would also be here for Beyoncé to "retire" only to come back 3-5 years and surprise release some subsequent masterpiece.

Fave is not retiring guys, the only time I thought she might retire was the first time I heard I was here and got real scared, she'll definitely not be releasing/promoting her music the same but she IS not retiring.

i was thinking this cause she said she still wanted to keep doing music through her 40s last year, so im hoping its more a reflection/reminder of who she is hopefully we get a bow down 2.0 moment
