AOA was a return to form after the mess that was Planet Earth—20Ten. This and Musicology are his best albums from this century.

 

But yeah I think she'll take influence from his imperial phase so nothing to worry about there.

I found out it was Prince's lil girlfriend named Vanity. She ditched the persona and left Hollywood entirely in the 90s after finding God when she almost died from kidney failure. She threw away everything associated with her stage name and cut ties with everyone famous. She died a couple months before Prince. 

It definitely seems like she is hinting. I'm not sure I buy the Nov theory. She released both lead singles well in advance of act 1 and 2, so the lead should be out by now if she is following that pattern. Releasing a single now with Xmas coming isn't smart either.

but I'm content with just the music. The music is soooo good and thus I want bathe within it and appreciate it to the fullest. I still don't have the vinyl sadly. I'm poor and I need to save up in case we have a tour.

 

Also I love the satisfying feeling that comes with celebrating this both excellent and recent body of work (CC) but also knowing we have act iii to look forward to. This time last year we weren't sure if act ii existed, or worse had been scrapped. It was only confirmed last February. so I consider this a really sweet spot and I'm happy to let it continue for a bit longer.

Honestly, I don't think CC was ever getting a tour. As a whole, the album would make a great show, but she has to incorporate hits from previous projects as well, and getting those to fit with the CC aesthetic would be almost impossible (even though I know her and her team are excellent at making new, creative arrangements and ultimately making things work), I think this one would be a lot of effort for something that may not come out too great, and considering there's still another act coming soon, it makes more sense to make a tour with the 3 acts out so you can properly separate them a little bit a la Eras Tour, or just play with the whole "act" universe that has been fully revealed (hopefully that includes the visuals) and you can rely on that.

I think she's gonna hit us all with it at once in the coming weeks right before the holiday season 

If she ends up making three individual posts for halloween with Prince, Betty Davis and like Tina or Jimi or Lil Richard or whatever then I think thats the boldest sign she can give that Act III is Rock (even tho we stans have already deduced)
