And the worst part is she knows she has to play the game, because she already did it for the first half of her career. She knows it works then acts dumb in her songs "AOTY win when?" She knows. But she lets the narrative that she's losing for other reasons run wild.
 

Yes, it sounds dumb and shouldn't be taken literally, but had she given out a couple more high fives, then yea, maybe her husband wouldn't be having to go on stage embarrassing us like that. Just saying.

I'm sorry... but these are two of the dumbest posts I've ever read. For them to (1) be in this base and (2) not be facetious/said in jest is even more troubling. 

 

What is likeable about Rihanna? Honestly. Just say you didn't want to be bullied and instead wanted to be the mean, insecure girl to save us all some time. From my standpoint I see a beautiful woman with remarkable style and twitter fingers that were constantly moving at her peak. That's it. Zero work ethic, jealousy/resentment of more talented peers, kept going back to Chris Brown (even musically - against her label's wishes), saw that mimicking Sia would allow her to continue to sell without putting in the work to improve her voice so did just that, and to make matters worse: chose a scrub who did not know he was Black until he was jailed in Europe yet still thought it would be great to name their young, Black son "Riot" in circa-2024 America. 

 

 

 

 

Flea... you've always been delusional, but Beyoncé literally did that in 2016 at the CMAs: Inviting country greats backstage to hang out, talk shop and drink with her + Jay in their dressing room offstage (some did), and blowing kisses to those she respected but didn't get to see onstage. Miranda Lambert, Thomas Rhett, The Chicks and Garth Brooks were class acts, and those were the main four who showed the most love the night of.

 

Shania Twain, The Country Carters (Carlene Cash), Garth Brooks, Miranda Lambert, Rhiannon Giddens, Kacey Musgraves, Orville Peck, Sugarland, Darius Rucker, and Dolly Parton (forced to toe the line recently due to her honorary CMA win) are the most important tastemakers. These are the Grammy-winners and changemakers in the field that want to push country forward. To also get the blessing of Patsy Cline (her estate) and Willie Nelson is also huge.

 

As for some of the others: It's giving "good ole boys" expecting people of color to "jump through hoops". Luke Bryan, Jason Aldean, Travis Tritt, Alan Jackson, and Kenny Chesney (the five who either walked out, felt jealous of her attention, spew dog whistles, or looked furious the whole performance) are all trash, and wanted her & Jay-Z to "kiss the ring" and make themselves feel better... only to still not submit votes for them. Nope. Politics and weakness are two different things.

I've been thinking this a lot lately. 
 

Vocally there is so many places she can go on a blues/rock inspired album and I think that's what I am really hoping for from act iii. Something edgy sonically and adventurous vocally.

I thought you're only allowed to vote in your designated category + mains. I don't think everyone votes in every category? R&B producers only votes in r&b categories + main. If this is true she ain't winning ****.

The male actor in the Levi's commercial is Bob Dylan's grandson. We are in for a TREAT on act iii!!! 

If she lands 12 nominations in the Grammys (which she could considering My House and Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé are elegible too, including song written for visual media), she would match the record for most nominations in one night and be the first person ever to reach 100 total nominations. If she landed a nomination for country and american roots she would match Bob Dylan as the third person nominated in the most fields.
