She definitely should've submitted American Requiiem somewhere. Americana/Alternative or even Rock would've worked well for it but otherwise I'm pretty happy with the submissions

I wonder if it's not submitted because it hasn't been made available... I believe for most award submissions you have to PROVIDE the work for the voters.

How did we go from "this ain't a country album" to submitting CC for Best Country Album . It will obviously be shut out by the country bloc, and they'll kind of have a point since songs on the album are being submitted to pop, R&B, and melodic rap. Americana would've been a better/more accurate category, but I guess they're trying to push the narrative.

 

Glad they submitted 16 Carriages and II Most Wanted for country though. These are well-crafted proper country tracks, and snubbing them would be more telling than CC being snubbed for Country Album imo.

For those saying she should have submitted to more categories, i think her submissions is fine. She touched on the main genres she needed to. Americana (i would have been very pissed if she did not submit there), Pop (its been a while shes submitted to pop), r and b, and country (texas will at least get nominated). She was never winning best film (taylor or celine (who is the frontrunner) will take it).

I think My House shouldve been submitted for dance, and good point on celine, I imagine she doesnt want to take that over celine.

Also happy Tyrant is getting a push, I just find spaghetti getting pushed a bit perplexing 

 

The fact that she submitted 'TYRANT' for Best R&B Song.  I feel as though she really did this so Brittney, Tiera and Reyna to walk away with their first Grammy Awards if she wins. 

 

I actually love that CC was submitted as country bc on the off chance she does win, the racists will be seething for WEEKS
