I suspect Renaissance Film was not eligible because it had no kind of digital/physical/streaming release. It is crazy that she didn't even care to do that to give it a chance though. Does she hate the version that released? WTF is up with her

If that's her thinking (or she wanted Columbia to focus all their energies on Celine Dion's film)... I hope we get an eventual Netflix director's cut release this winter with:

 

- The whole ballad section.

- An added vignette around the time all 5 members reunite in the film discussing "Yeah, Yeah, Yeah", flashbacks to Girl's Tyme practicing the song, and that Tia Mowry moment at her Birthday show.

- The whole Vogue dance portion

- Utilization of the Netflix choose-your-adventure feature, but to allow people to toggle between different nights / clothing for specific songs.

- A bonus featurette (a second, 20-minute mini-episode, so to speak) on her fashions, interviews with some of the heavy-hitter designers, and the ideas sent back and forth to create some of her bespoke designs.
