My personal theory is that she stopped enjoying songs like Irreplaceable because of the drama around them. 
 

It's also why she stopped performing If I were a boy and listen too. People most often use these songs against her and say she stole writing credits blah blah blah so she just tries to separate herself from them as much as possible (they're also damn hard to sing on tour night after night)

I think its not.the drama but the songs being played out to her. 

 

Remember she wanted to ditch Diva too.

Irreplaceable feels less essential because it was deliberately set aside on the setlists of her biggest performances (her two stadium tours, her two superbowls and her historic coachella set). Glastonbury is a huge moment for that song but it's been left to rot since, and because of that neglect it's slipped from the public consciousness. There was a time when Irreplaceable and Listen felt like absolutely essential songs in her discog. It's a shame, because better rotation of her staples would have maintained the deserved sense of grandeur and abundance that she should have in the public consciousness. 

Everyone's always like 'Beyonce doesnt have the monster number of hits that MJ had'. But she does. She just has let it all slip away from her I guess.

It was like one of the actual biggest radio hits of all time, with audience impressions over 200 million.  It was #1 on radio for 11 weeks, and the biggest hit of 2007.  It was huge WW, as well.

 

Irreplaceable is one of the biggest hits she's had, it just didn't have much staying power. 

 

I'm certain though that anyone alive and cognizant at that period would know the song
