If she wanted to show us the DC5 reunion she would've shown it to us. All of the things you mentioned happened in between eras. We're in the middle of another era so she's not going to go back and pull out the footage for this film so she can make something more complicated and time consuming by creating multiple edits that no one but stans would engage with. If she was going to give it to us it would've been before CC was announced. The ship has sailed.

I actually love the idea of a Directors Cut and live album release (complete with interludes and like, maybe a gay cult cover like You Make Me Feel (Mighty Real)). My only thought would be that doing an actual 'choose ur own adventure' thing just wouldn't be practical because the audio wouldn't sync up across all shows. Not perfectly, anyway. Bey masters her live albums super seriously and the music would take priority over the film for her. With that in mind, we'll more likely get perfectly produced live audio which combines vocal highlights and strengths from the whole tour, than a bunch of audio files that have her coughing during I Care, or messing up the lyrics to Heated.

I hate her, I'm still yearning for this on streaming

I'm aware the reunion is in the film. But you're asking for more footage of their private conversation and girls tyme clips. She showed what she wanted to show. If she wanted to include Tia she would have.

I feel like she could've submitted AR for rock categories, but she's probably saving that for ACT III. It definitely should've been submitted for something though.

I'm sure you said that about Dreamgirls too after there were rumors of songs and whole scenes being cut during production. Do you remember a two-disc "Showstopper Edition" of the film, as well as the "Director's Cut Extended Edition"?

 

For BOTH: Suddenly musical numbers were extended from pieces sliced off and left on the cutting-room floor, a whole filmed song that was cut to reduce run time was returned, and we got other scenes. All in all they extended the overall film runtime by 10 minutes.

 

Other extras: the song that was ultimately cut from the movie appeared on the deluxe soundtrack, and we also received hours of set, screen test, and fashion-related bonus features.

 

Chill out. Relax.

After her last post, I'm becoming more and more convinced that Act III is indeed Motown/funk/swing/rock.
