some people feel the need to do this every time she releases a new album & it's so unnecessary.

 

for me….i love Ren more & likely always will. CC is wonderful & has some career highlights but its not the style of music I gravitate too and Beyoncé adding her touch is what's doing the overall heavy lifting on its appeal for me.

 

 I'm not ready to participate in any rankings until the music settles. But ultimately, out of 8 albums…. I see it being in the middle range. That's not b/c I feel it's lacking but I know it's never topping Ren & 4 for sure. I'll have to revisit old albums again in a couple months to get a better idea on how I feel in context.

that was mother ST actually - a score of 85 for a big star in the era before poptimism took off was virtually unheard of, plus it's when she really started to dominate year end lists

CC is easily top 2 with Renaissance for me. I just need time to listen more. But I know for sure it has higher highs 

 

that being said, Legendade might have Turdcastles but Dangerously in Low 60s is like 30% generic filler AND Faddy… like let's be real
