Cowboy Carter is my favorite Beyonce album ever tbh. I like the storytelling and how it was slow at the beginning and more traditional and then exploded to experimental Country towards the second half. It gave everything in 1 album. The 27 tracks also go together.

How can we make tyrant a hit?!

We are all laughing/joking and stuff about these rankings but the ONLY piece of news that matters :

 

we stan an ARIST who has 100% control of her career. If she doesn't put out at album within 3 years it means it's not ready. No commercial pressure. No excuse. She only puts out what is best and only the best.

 

even tho I like bangers and I find lemonade boring, as bodies of work her discography has been INSANE, INCREDIBLE, 100% PERFECT since 4 so Lemonade included aka when she took 100% control of everything, IASF being the "commercial" album. Who else has a discography like that seriously?

2 Hands 2 Heaven was my day one fave and it's not changing, very few songs can bring me to tears on first listen. It's hard NOT to cry to it now if you have been through anything major up to this point in your life.

 

I KNOW whatever happened to her that we dont hear about scared her and it's apparent in the music. I feel a new sense of raw emotion from this work.
