girl I still remember when that Renaissance concert ended I had sung all these songs "like her" I thought that was the end of me. She sang, danced and everything wheewwwwwwww chill

I find myself repeating these 3 songs constantly when listening to the album in full, so here is my TOP 3 from CC:

People putting Beyonce as her best album just because of thr shock factor and the moment it created when the music, well... Just cant compete with her last 3 projects. Shes done a better Blow on Rennie (Cuff It), shes done a better Flawless on Lemonade and CC (Formation, Spaghetti, Tyrant), shes done a better Rocket on CC (2 Hands 2 Heaven), shes done a better Blue on CC (Protector), shes done a better Heaven on TG (Otherside)... like u dont compare where u dont compete

 

After sitting with it for a few days I'm willing to confirm I believe Levii's Jeans will be the biggest hit on the album 

Beyoncé keeps topping herself. No other musician is this dedicated to artistic growth.

 

Cowboy Carter > Renaissance > Lemonade > Self-Titled > 4

 

and all 5 are incredible bodies of work!

DIL: prove herself to the field, to the legends of the field, and to herself.

BDay: Honor her inner diva, have fun, let Deena/Sasha breath.

IASF: Reach international audiences and shake off the R&B diva image the media was boxing her in with Alicia Keys and MJB.

4: Reassure her fanbase that R&B is her genre and she will not abandon it for success because she can make it successful and acclaimed.

Self-Titled: A grown woman introducing herself to the world, without her father, with her OWN VISION. Meet Beyoncé on this specific album!

Lemonade: An artist expressing her grief and disappointment with adultery in music form, what a marvel!

RENAISSANCE: A loud proclamation of a grand diva who is in complete control and able to tell a story through her fans eyes.

Cowboy Carter: A storytelling adventure of a woman who has something to say and knows HOW to say it.

I feel the same exact way about this song   It's really special. So far, it's taken my top slot, and Flamenco is fighting for number 2.

I love that "Protector" and "My Rose" visualizers represent two children's bedrooms with the dresser set (Rumi) & train tracks (Sir). This era is so well thought out considering the changes! The visualizers also kind of go in order (if you look at them all together). 

it should be noted that the chartdata tweet is NOT saying Cowboy Carter will move 500k units this week. it's saying it'll be the first album to move 500k this year, including the pre-release single activity for Texas Hold Em (which equals around 100k album units already) and 16 Carriages (which probably has enough to count for 15-20k album equivalent units).

 

that total would suggest Cowboy Carter will move about 380-385k units. I'm not so sure about 16 Carriages total units, so I might be off a bit. but yeah.

 

(it's still great nonetheless, just warning you to not set yourselves and Bey up.)

I feel like for this album it's easier to say the songs you don't like, there are too many good songs to make a top 5 (kind of like Renaissance)
