I wish "ii Heaven" was its own song. The R&B community would have ATE IT UP! It's Cuff It Wetter/90s R&B on steroids with that guitar background that gives it just enough uniqueness. Just stunning.

I don't like the pk4 review. I was a bit worried some critics would use Beyoncé pushing herself into the genre against her or not get it.

they still commended her for pushing herself. it could've been a lot worse like the WaPo article. P4K still very much believe in Bey as an artist

The dichotomy is interesting as she says BOLDLY it's the best music she's ever made and yet the critics reviews aren't aligning. Feels like bday era a bit. Lol

She has 3 100's and a 96 (so far). So I still feel good that the score will stay above 90.

Very slick of them to ignore the existence of II Hands II Heaven into Tyrant to avoid giving her the deserved 9.1 but it's not the end of the world

When are they going to update the prediction? 

Way too early to be actually debating anything but CC is my fave both as an album and as a collection of individual songs. And it feels right that album is also her best album vocally and lyrically, she made sure everything was right. Nothing beats all organic instruments, she probably missed that herself and that has to have contributed to why she said it's the best music she's ever made

 

The thing about her is that she's always did things last minute or did last minute changes. I remember one month before ST she's still shooting videos. But for some reason never once that she pushed back her album.
