As much as I love Gaga, I personally just don't find the idea exciting. Not only have they collabed before (thus whatever they do will be rated against that) but Gaga already made her attempt with country and it didn't present the best case for her being included on Beyoncé's attempt at it. They're great together and I love all their collaborations but they're both in very different places in 2024 vs. 2009/2010.

 

I also don't think Telephone needs a sequel. It's ending was not a tease of more to come, I think, but a campy, funny use of "to be continued..." in pulp works, which the video referenced.

I'm all for collabs. But I want real collaborations. Not one-off remixes. I'm tired of her collabs always being remixes. I want them to be on the album from the get-go.

The monsters spent the ASIB-Renaissance years being hot messes on this forum. Most of the problem users are gone now, but people really aren't enthused about another year of "Gaga gave Beyoncé her last global hit" threads, even if the shoe is on the other foot this time.

I personally would prefer collabs with artists she hasn't worked with previously. However I'm not opposed to the idea of a continuation of telephone. At this point, 20 years later seems kind of odd though.

They were in this album, but were quickly removed. The total for the album dropped from 18 to 14, people were pointing it out on Twitter.
