Is it just me or did the excitement for Cowboy Carter grew massively again since yesterday? Ill be honest, I put THE and 16C out of my power rotation this last week and focussed on Arianas project, but today I just wanna listen to Beys songs again

This is her first album title with more than one word since IASF (if we don’t count The Gift and EIL).

 

4, BEYONCÉ, Lemonade, RENAISSANCE were all a single word/digit. Something else they have in common is the last three all have ‘e’ as the second letter AND the final letter.

 

Between that and the dual single release, oh you better believe IASF 2.0 is coming.

I don’t think we have to worry about IG. She’s for sure gonna post the actual cover/s soon to her main grid. 

 

Everything currently on sale atm seems to be the equivalent of the coverless Rennie boxes that first went up.

 

My guess is that they do this to maximize curiosity / fomo buys and then make the girls reverse back to buy again when the standard cover / more versions are unveiled.

I like the title but my god some of you are very annoying when someone goes against the grain of what is deemed the acceptable opinion to have in this base. 'Complaining within hours' as if people can only share their opinion when YOU think they should share it. Get over yourselves. 
 

On a different note, I really love the 'white' look. I like how it's consistent with the Renaissance imagery/aesthetics while still being distinctive enough to signal a new chapter.

Michelle is called Obama because that's her name. Beyoncé is known as Beyoncé (just Beyoncé) and references herself as Mrs. Carter because that's her name. There's nothing cheap about that. Also the public links Carter more with Beyoncé than her husband. The fact that she's the bigger "entity" is irrelevant, her name is Carter, it's her family's name. 

And your post is reductive and inconsiderate of what is a marriage, it's two persons coming together and forming one, today they share the same name, that's her decision. Michelle also exists outside of her husband, in some ways, she's more popular than he is, more schooled than he is, in some spaces, way more respected than he is and built him up to what he became. Your post lacks respect tbh but whatever. A woman do not forfeit her power, her identity and strength just because she has the name of her husband.

Just like the announcement is recent (not even 24 hours) so I should be allowed to express my opinion without being told off by everybody. If this was a week from the announcement or a month, then saying I’m dragging it would’ve made more sense.

You're not. After my initial shock and disgust, I actually grew to love the title. Its very playful and powerful. Its serving alter ego

Girl, a lot of the Beyhive does nothing but complain. Believe it or not we have been spoiled in the past with full length MOVIES as projects. THREE times to be exact. Literally %99.9 of most stans could never say that. Most of the Beyhive’s gripe is the fact that they are optionally forking out money left and right for Bey when they were never required too, and using that as an excuse to complain. Beyoncé loves us, but she has never forced any of her fans to spend as much as they have on her.
That was all by choice.

 

We expect so much out of her when she’s been at this for nearly 3 decades, yet is giving more than most artists who have only been out here for 1. A lot of the complaining sometimes is valid, but sometimes I feel it just becomes an echo chamber and completely pointless.

I do not disagree and I am all for sharing opinions. I have seen countless posts of you addressing that you hate the title, completely unchallenged. Not everybody told you off, that's an exageration. You have at least 10 different posts saying more or less that, and it's OK. The disagreement is in proportion to your posts on the subject.

But anyway, true. You have perfectly the right to hate the title and say it. Go ahead. I just felt like acting like Michelle Obama is just his wife or addossing your husband’s name makes a woman any less or forfeiting her power is not a point that should be insisted on. I felt like sharing it but it's good that we disagree, it makes for interesting convos. Let's agree to disagree.

Everyone was telling me there was a master plan and I’m just wondering why the plan wasn’t immediately after the Super Bowl especially if there was no intent to do anything other than a story post.
