I’m just so curious how visuals will be handled… are we going to get them in one giant film that ties all the albums together? Separate videos that randomly drop? Or is it delusional to think we’re getting any cause they’re scrapped? Why is Jlo over? Far too many questions, not enough answers

They're putting it in quotes as if it were the title though. I wonder if that's what the title of the album was and it changed but the press release might still have the original title.

As a Beyoncé fan, wouldn’t you want her albums to stand the test of time without being linked to her husband? Even though Lemonade was about Jay, people reference it without thinking of him and are able to see the bigger picture. The Carter name in the title cheapens the album. Having names in album titles is always a risk, it’s not just about Bey.

How does it cheapen the album? Its literally her name. Even if she eventually divorces Jay at some point, she'll still always be associated with the name considering she has 3 children that are Carters.

yes being married to Jay doesn't define her. she's still Mrs. Carter and at this point, she ain't getting a divorce ever. I don't see any problem with using his name here, especially when it doubles as a historic reference to an actual Cowboy Carter who ran a southern media outlet.

 

some of you just complain to complain. go on, do it more, but you're not gonna convince anyone the name "Carter" is cheap.

I get where you’re coming from to an extent but it would be a gag if this album is overall more successful than Renaissance regardless of its name. It would kinda nullify your whole argument.

Michelle Obama is known to the public as Michelle Obama. She became famous because she is the wife of a president. That is her whole brand. 
Beyoncé not only exists outside of her husband, she also is a bigger entity. 
A better comparison would be Barack releasing a book under Barack LaVaughn Robinson.
