This is so emotional tbh especially when you became a fan in the 4 era. You'll never see B topping the charts or news of her being number one on Hot 100.

I know I remember when No No No No came out I use to buy the video on the Box, I feel ancient.

I got my stan card after 2003 VMA. I didn’t know about DC, but I remember my mom listening to IW, SMN and Survivor.

Yessss The BOX! What a throwback. I remember learning the choreo to Monica’s The First Night from watching The Box.

 

I didn’t become a real fan until Baby Boy though. That video and the choreo on the beach platform during Sean’s verse hooked me in.

Ou wow.. Cécred really lives up to the hype. There's a subtle minty smell to it and it doesn't irritate my scalp.

Oh wow, the age gaps in here... mother really appeals to EVERYONE. From the senior citizens to gen alpha.  

 

My lesbian cousin had a DC album and I liked some songs here and there. She was sort of inescapable on radio with Check On It, I heard it every morning on my way to 3rd grade. But I was a full on Hilary Duff and Hannah Montana stan.  I haven't seen the light yet until she was dry humping the air at the 2009 VMAs, shortly after MJ's death. And I just knew I had to throw the Disney stan card away.

Ya’ll wanna know how ancient but true to it  I am? Not only a fan since 1997 Kiling Time, but I was in the original Destiny’s Child fan club in 1998. I received plenty of 8 x 10’s a letter and an Autographed photo 😭
