That's what she wrote on the album booklet. Either something changed last minute and she is trying to pull a fast one on us OR she meant filming most of what is on the documentary during the pandemic. The tour performances will just be added in.

 

Act III could end up being a Delux version of Renaissance with features and a few more songs.

We either understood it all wrong OR we are being played.

 

Last option is none of this is true and the media are trying to get involved and play the fans.

Just release the visuals after tonight's show, let us see the concert special in december and she can be gone for the next couple of years for all I care

if you google "act ii: a film by beyonce" there's links to theatres listing that title on their websites 16-17 hrs ago 

It makes  sense that both Act II and Act III are complementary projects to Renaissance than to be a completely different album - and a country album at that! I don't understand why one would be disappointed because of this 

I dont blame the theaters. They are being told what to put on their websites so Parkwood is feeding them information. 

At least the film is getting buzz before it's even been announced

Doublespeakyoncé strikes again tbh. It turned out to be just a regular ole era (album, “singles,” tour/tour film) but with way less (no visuals, no performances, no signs of life for most of it) and taking way longer to get there (we’ll be nearing three separate calendar years by the time we’ve seen this movie )

It was probably open ended intentionally. They were ambiguous about the acts in case they changed their minds.

If act two is literally a tour movie then unless there’s something REALLY unique it’s kind of stupid. She’s released so many other well reviewed tour movies. Why is this so special it’s an act of it’s own? 
 

Especially considering Taylor just announced a tour movie like it’s a regular thing to do. 
 

Let’s trust the process. We’ve been teased SO much by so many people that this is just the beginning. 

I kept saying for the last year that the tour is act II and the visuals will be act III

Now that I think of it, when she teased the whole project on her website she said "what is a B7?" and "B8." Not once has she mentioned a B9, so I'm thinking Act I was Ren, Act II is whatever that film is and Act III is the country-leaning album, with visuals tying the whole thing.
