I hated the country album idea but i was kinda excited about the rock and roll album rumors. It could be her Tina Turner era. She could still do that anytime though so even if Act II turns out to be this film, it's not so bad anyway. Beyoncé can deliver new music whenever she wants, she doesn't need to call them an Act.

It was not being excited about a country act. It was being excited about new music coming somewhat soon. We won't get an album in 4-5 years now. 

I thought she was gonna reclaim the black genres: Dance/Rock/Country 

 

There HAS to be more music.

They literally prevented fans from enjoying the whole era to simply give a film at the end to show everything they missed? When we could have just gotten the visuals and called it a day? Done.

nobody said act2 was album. producer simply said more music is coming. 

idk what annoys me more...the two other acts not being actual albums or her saving visuals for last....

I was excited for more music. I didn’t necessarily agree with the country or rock rumors. But the fact that more was coming was what I looked forward to. 
 

And she could have kept all the secrecy and said act II and III were the visuals and tour. Dumb stuff like that was unnecessary to hide.

We dont know that, let's stay positive. This film will probably create another iconic moment for her career so i'm looking forward to that but Bey will get bored again and will release something else. She wont sit at home for long if there is no pandemic.

Country album was a no for me but Rock yes. 
 

Let’s be real. Announcing 3 albums and then the 2nd not being released over a year later didn’t make sense anyway. There has been no rumours of another album coming any time soon, like vinyls being done etc. We played ourselves.

They were asked about the acts, not new music in general. They've been scrapped.

TBH, some received this as such when the "three-act" thing was teased but the wording really does give "three album" vibes.

I'm literally fuming, but the reality is that the trailer/announcement will pretty much flip that back to excitement. So, I'm not even bothering to be bothered lol.

You do realize listening to music is not the only way one enjoys art. I’m also a visual person and like to delve into things I love. Hence videos and performances. That is all part of the experience, not just listening.

The moment she announced the tour was called renaissance it was low key a given that this would be the case tbh
