nobody will care about renny visuals dropping 2 years after the album.. i think the movie will be the final part of the project that ties everything together and it will contain music from renaissance but also another album, maybe “echoes” or “echoville” cause there have been rumors about that

You do realize listening to music is not the only way one enjoys art. I’m also a visual person and like to delve into things I love. Hence videos and performances. That is all part of the experience, not just listening.

I've been anchored in Team Optimistic (and still am to a degree), but...the fact they "let" the "three-album" narrative run without any correction is wild to me. 

 

I really get that secrecy, mystery, and surprise are her motives, so spilling her tea before it's time will never happen. But surely there's reading the room enough to know that people will actively be disappointed when discovering there aren't three albums and she's basically giving us what we've typically ALWAYS gotten: an album, a visual film, and a doc. 

 

Essentially, this has been a year and a half of letting rumors run rampant knowing the end serving will disappoint. The bolded bit is the wildest part IMO.

 

For that reason, I really stick to my belief that the three-act thing was deliberately vague. Variety (who are hella reputable and often used by Bey's team like we saw yesterday) did not write about a Country album and Ryan Tedder tracks (alongside lots of true tea about what ended up being Rennie) out of the blue. 

 

Plans can and do change. So, I suspect she gave herself room to manoeuvre and here we are. 

 

The annoyingly smart thing about Bey's "say less" approach is that she can (and will) always have the defence of having technically never "promised" three albums to begin with. 

 

The ONLY upside I can see from this is that it will simplify expectations and kinda creates a **very** clear path for her her to launch another leg of the **same tour** before going into her cave. 

 

At this point, the only *new* things left to squeeze out of the Ren era is a: live album to accompany the film, visuals (if not in the film), and a new end-credits song for Oscar purposes. Maybe a "deluxe" edition with the remixes. All well-treaded terrain when looking at how she botched handled The Gift/BIK.

 

Moving forward, we can at least manage expectations and move tf on.

Getting a documentary and videos is also speculation.

Nnn, not people expecting the album. Im just looking for an announcement of the film....

The only sane save for this nonsense on the musical front would be the deluxe having a disc of new music and thus videos for songs we don't yet know about in the visuals. 

 

Too many credible sources (including people who worked on the album) have intimated that there's "more" music. So, where is it?!

maybe she was just teasing b8. act 3 (the visuals) will come in spring on streaming and then she'll be featured on the weeknd's new album next year on echoes 2.0 and then drop Echoville in dec 2024 before embarking on her final tour in 25/26. then she'll go on a 10 year hiatus and come back with an old school soul/rnb record that finally wins aoty

This is what we have been saying for years!!!! Speculation is fine, but only on things that have actually been confirmed or communicated. They saw fans ran with the acts things and never clarified. 

And I’m mostly annoyed about the visuals and keeping everything for the end where it won’t matter, and disappears for another five years.
