Just got back from the show in New Orleans. Wow!!!! She gave us everything!!! Except big Frieda.

 

Her energy was so high, the New Orleans crowd was on 1,000. Like word for word. I went to the Dallas show, and omg, the disparity between the two my Gawd.

y’all whine about the lack of hits being performed but want THE beyoncé signature song off the setlist ?

It is strange that she wore this opening outfit a second time! I thought we were done once she decided to wear the birthday outfit again.

I’m like the only one outright saying it needs a little break so she can feel excited about it again (not that I know how she’s feeling but comparing it to previous tours + knowing she’s done it 5930383794930 times kinda alters my perception), but the rest of that statement isn’t quite what I’m getting at either.

 

the curse of being a veteran is that inevitably things will get skipped in the setlist because there’s more and more material to choose from, but she (like others) has a handful of reliable staples. obviously they’re great and I won’t actually be upset when they’re in a setlist, but it’s nice when artists mix it up a little even at the expense of a signature moment.

I can’t breathe. This entire time in Mood 4 Eva I thought the chorus said “I got cup of tooda evans”. I assumed it was some  fancy alcoholic drink we have never heard of. It wouldn’t be her first time listing off expensive items no one else has heard about in a song. Turns out she said “I got my cup up to the heavens”. There’s so many songs I have the lyrics wrong and it changes the entire storyline of the song. Sksks

i've always liked AUIYM but it's growing more on me...... maybe she did something there

So I used a twitter image in a thread that outlined all the writing credits on RENAISSANCE sans samples and for lyrics only (duno how they knew that but I choose to just believe it), and according to that graphic, just Beyoncé and Jay-Z wrote AMERICA HAS A PROBLEM and that... is somehow so cute to me. And I think that horny energy comes through on the track. I love when they work closely together like that.
