I agree, but in a way there's bound to be a downside to the upside of whatever happens.

 

If it comes packaged together, that's a "lot" of "new Beyonce" and something will likely get lost in the shuffle (the doc or the visuals).

 

If separate doc and visuals spread out by a period of time, that's a lot of milking of the same source content (aka: the Renaissance album). way past the sell-by date.

 

For us to just be getting visuals or behind-the-scenes in 2024 for an album that dropped in 2022 is so...ugh. 

 

We'll of course lap it up, but again...ugh.

Yes, it was at the Seattle show. If I recall correctly it was like $75-80 maybe a little more but I couldn't justify spending that much on it myself.

I know we have 2 shows left but RWT as clearly cemented itself as Beyoncé’ magnum opus for tours. Even excluding the numbers, none of her other tours had this much of a cultural movement. 

I feel like a lot of people are still stuck in this archaic mindset that Beyonce is just known for being an amazing performer and only having female empowerment anthem songs, if you only associate her with songs like Single Ladies, RWT, or Irreplaceable you simply live under a rock.

 

People don’t bother to do surface level research, they don’t understand the sexual liberation that Self Titled explored, the impact that those visuals and album did. Lemonade and its film are richly packed with so much history and symbolism there is a REASON why it has a college course.

 

She embodies art sonically and visually, the struggles of black womanhood, generational trauma, overcoming the cards you were dealt with, and making a name for yourself with your work ethic. That is everything that Beyonce represents to me. It’s bigger than just “female empowerment” and the way she displays herself both on stage and in her videos is just awe inspiring, the work ethic is unheard of.

To be fair I also thought he was a girl because Rokael is a girl’s name but he’s been amazing

She hasn't posted any of the off-stage pictures from Houston on IG either. I've noticed they now post right before she hits the stage in the next city so if she doesn't post anything tonight there's not one coming.

enough time has passed, Cozy Ren Tour Version is her best performance since FWT and has one of her best live arrangements ever, if not the best

Honestly I would love for people to rediscover her albums and do a deep dive like they've been doing another artist, but that wont happen when you aren't sending the audience that way.
