I watch it around once a month. I'm down bad. Unlike a few people here, I've been impressed with it since day one. The waiting hurts.

 

I just got my Tiffany chain from UPS

 

Quick review:

 

The quality and presentation is really nice and luxurious. I just barely started getting into wearing jewelry within the last year and I only have some David Yurman jewelry to compare this too but I feel like it’s definitely quality in comparison. To be fair though this is the “Return to Tiffany” collectIon which is more affordable but I don’t feel like they compromise on making it feel good and special. I also included a personal note that says “paint the world ***** pink” so hopefully the Tiffany employees weren’t gagged by that 

 

But overall I’m very happy with the chain and will treasure it forever. And happy that my coins are being put to good use and supporting HBCU’s in need.

But I do see where the broader complaints stem from. 

 

Already manages to be amazing, despite featuring some of her questionable editing choices that are sprinkled across the rest of the visual. 

 

It packs enough umph, but still has that annoying filter over a few scenes. Also, much as she wants to go for cinematic and "more than a music video",  sometimes all we want is more "her" than cuts to random extras and scenarios. I'd say the same for the Water video too.

I think the critiques of her visuals are kinda over exaggerated, while yes BIK had nature shots and zoom ins on her deadpanned face, it still provided different set pieces along with choreo and a loose story. BIK and Lemomade’s film were beautifully executed and a clear evolution in growth. My only gripe is Homecoming with the grainy filters and the voice memos recorded with an iPhone 6, let’s leave those be.
