going shopping tomorrow with bestie so we can feel the fantasy on wednesday. i'm so excited! we're almost there ladies! :celestial:

Kind of glad she’s performing smash hits that people are well aware of and not some random mix of songs that nobody outside of the die hard Hive knows or remembers

The thing is, whatever Beyoncé performs she is going to make it into a moment.

If someone told me she'd perform Top Off at Coachella I'd be like....what? but it's such a good segment.

I just don’t know how Forbes came to that conclusion and it totally feels like a set up. They are claiming the tour is sold out when that’s completely false :rip: They are claiming that she will have a very high average ticket price which again looking at the maps for a lot of the remaining shows I can already tell that’s not gonna happen or at least not to degree their talking about. A very unnecessary article.

This will be Beyoncé biggest stadium tour and a career best for her but theirs no need to compare her to Taylor who is an anomaly in touring and music.

Beyoncé is an anomaly when it comes to touring as well and is currently on track to outgross Taylor Swift. (Beyonce has 57 shows and Taylor has 52 shows) Swifties are saying she hasn't announced Europe yet, while Beyonce has not announced Asia, Australia or Latin America yet.

There is also an article from Bloomberg that came out last month that says:

Will Taylor Swift or Beyoncé Have the First $1 Billion Tour? Ed Sheeran and Elton John have the biggest tours on record. Here's why Beyoncé and Taylor Swift could beat them.

Beyonce can DEMOLISH the touring grosses if she really wanted to. I don't understand the trepidation.

She WILL demolish. Literally who's seeing her aside from Taylor in touring power, and they be acting like she's on the same league as their B-lister faves

BUT that Forbes article is just simply wild. They estimate (optimistically) 2B from just the announced dates. And the $275 million and $2.57 billion range is the wildest estimation I've ever seen in my life like what is even the point of doing estimation anymore :rip: Unless they know something we don't, that article is a set up.

I wouldn’t be mad if she brought back that Grammy rendition of IIWAB with the Alanis tribute.

I’m on my way to the airport but it still isn’t real to me. I’m really gonna see and hear her best album live two days from now :chick2:

EDIT: Maybe because my ticket still isn’t ready :skull: I’m gonna croak if they’re still “working on it” on Wednesday

Do y’all not realize that Forbes estimate is total REVENUE, not just ticket sales? :toofunny3:

no.

“Renaissance” could gross between $275 million and $2.4 billion from tickets alone by the time it ends in September. Beyoncé’s most optimistic ticket revenue estimate — $2.4 billion — is well above Era’s $1.9 billion most optimistic box office.

Taylor isn’t just doing US and Europe though, she is going to all those places too. I think Europe will be huge this time for her.

It’s confusing but they end up discussing merch sales further down in the article and I believe the new figures at the end of the article include revenue from merch since the they don’t match the figures stated early in the article:

Quote

  • Gross ticket sales ranging from $751 million and $2.57 billion based on the low and high average prices for all 52 concerts.
  • Merchandise revenue of about $171 million based on the assumption that she will sell 30,000 items at an average price of $100 (assuming that her prices will be higher than Swift’s since they are only available at the concerts)

  • Beyoncé would keep 80% of the merchandise revenue (per Herlihy)

Who knows. The article is all over the place.

it actually adds up. the part I quoted says max $2.4b from ticket sales alone and the part you quoted mentions $2.57b total revenue, with $171m merchandise revenue.

$2.4b + $171m = $2.57b

but the article definitely feels like a set up. “Renaissance” could gross between $275 million and $2.4 billion from tickets is the most useless estimation ever, it's like Hits Daily Double announcing Renaissance could debut with 120k - 1.4m copies. :deadbanana2: means absolutely nothing

Good. I’m glad it adds up. I knew I wasn’t delusional. I just didn’t feel like doing the math. :dies:

we're getting Giselle content in less than 48 hours whether her ass wants it or not, it's an incredible feeling

No, majority are not. The pages of this thread from this past week is sufficient proof.

I’m still not over the slow jam disrespect, and to call DiL or Speechless bathroom break worthy should be a criminal offense. Sanity was long gone in here ever since the “bootlicker vs selfish hive” war

Can you believe we have less than 48 hours? And that we're gonna see her multiple times a week for months?
