I agree that she’s the most polarizing MPG of our generation, that’s something I’ve mentioned time and time again, but that’s partly due to the type of anti-streaming antics she pulled in 2016 in the first place. Like you’re talking about the singles she kept off streaming after she expected her fans to go support her cheating husbands business endeavor (Tidal) after outing him as said cheater on the album. It was giving Stockholm syndrome and people deemed it a publicity stunt. Then came the more political/unapologetically black theme that followed, which was good on her to reflect on, but it just added onto the polarization (that ultimately triggered her to be even more resentful towards the public). Like she did come back and do her little campaign for The Gift/TLK just for for black people in particular to complain/dismiss it (more particularly West Africans). It was all just added resentment for her to take note of despite how stunningly beautiful these efforts were. With all of that in mind, you could she why she feels inclined to give us nothing more then what’s the bare minimum today. She’s taken a lot of incredible risks just to receive nothing but flack for all of it.

I understand your points. However you still have a fan base that can get you 300k+ sold first week. Don't punush the ones who have been here for the ones have pushed for you to fall since 1999. I'm not asking for a weird parasocial relationship like the Barbz, but there has to be a healthy compromise. Cause at this point Im seeing too many excuses with doing the bare minimum as an artist or entertainer. Hive was fed with visuals, performances and myLife updates on her website where Instagram would get the pics a few days later. And the cute notes from time to time.

I don't think she realizes how jealous alot of artists and their fanbases were during the 2011-2016 eras. To me it seems like everyone's fave took notes and waited until Bey got tired to implement much of what she's already done, only to get the praise for it.

You think she cares? lol This is the same Beyoncé who sabotages her own releases and potential to gain max profit from her work. I doubt her ''reputation'' and how the public view her is a concern of hers. She has not cared for a long time.

Stupid in Love ft Jay Z coming real soon. Give Jay his best performing hot 100 song on the charts again Bey while he reports to Forbes how his artist is worth another billion. :wanda:

No she is not stuck at home. She is focused on things that matter. She wont be that mom that her grown kids will resent because she put music first before sharing special memories with them. The twins are in school now and must also have other stuff going on like sports or other hobbies, they are growing up. Beyoncé of course still loves music and does her work but she doesn't have to be ashamed to drop work for an entire week to spend with her kids, watching them enjoy their little activities, dropping them off somewhere to go play with friends. I mean normal stuff people do. She wont leave that on the damn nannies while she works like a slave to please some people. It is not where Bey is in her life anymore. Just accept that and move on.

I hope the tour is completely fresh.... like no Flawless/Feeling Myself or the Ring the Alarm dance break that's been around since the Destiny Fulfilled tour (not that I still wouldn't get my life seeing it again)

Well with how hard the die hard stans truly believe she's been working for the last 9 months to justify the crap rollout, let's hope but be prepared for the worst.

The fact some Hive is scared that Renaissance songs won't be performed on the Renaissance world tour. :jonnycat:

So that's why you're really mad huh? i figured. Many fans get like you when a certain artist is having the spotlight for a moment. It's so stupid. Bey has had that spotlight for two damn decades! Non stop and she could have that spotlight in any moment if she wanted. Key words ''if she wanted''. She doesn't crave that noise anymore, she is focused on long term effects, a legacy. Real talent. A tour that will probably break records and builds up her legacy even more. The noise doesn't matter. Anybody can claim a damn billion on Forbes. That magazine is so thirsty and you know they are mad they dont get access to Bey's finances and that's how it's gonna stay.

I understand who you're alluding to. But at the same time let's be careful with assuming how these kids will feel about the life they're exposed to. Let's hope they're not brats like Juels times 10.

And we know Bey has kids. That did not stop her and her husband from putting together a whole album expressing their love, tour with the twins at 1 year old and musical film that had her traveling to Africa to collab with artists for an album.

At this point we're not asking for NONE of that and keep lowering expectations for her own solo project. To give... nothing after 10 months of a lead single and album drop? Inexcusable.

I'm not saying the reason we dont have the visuals have to do with the kids or personal reasons. I'm just saying the pressure she used to put on herself before is not there anymore. If she filmed the visuals and the end result didn't satisfy her, she would scrap them and feel no pressure to film them again right away. She would make sure to spend valued time with her children first, make memories, watch them grow up and then when she feels comfortable to resume activities she will and reshoot the visuals. She probably has been preparing for the tour, filming visuals for the tour and completing new visuals for the album still. I mean it's possible. The old Beyoncé would let that stress her whole life but this new Bey i doubt she would sweat and will take her time. I'm just trying to present a mature woman in her 40's who is not seeing the world as she used to. Her fans should respect that and not throw tantrums everyday over it.

Ok babe. That magazine is thirsty but her husband runs to it reguarly to make him and his artist look good. He engages with the press and clearly has plans for his career. If she is so above all of that, why is she married to someone who clearly cares about his wealth and image in entertainment? Bey isn't a trophy housewife.

We're basically downplaying what Bey supposedly stood for as a boss woman who runs Parkwood Label, Management and Productions, does so much with BeyGood and had a strong start with Ivy ParkxAdidas. Now look...

Because it matters to those artists. Not Beyoncé. Lord it's aint that hard to understand. If Jay's management company promotes a certain artist a certain way because they demand so, what does that have to do with Bey? she manages herself and obviously is not interested in promoting herself that way. Jay Z founded that company but he is not personal manager to those people. He is a business man and just knows his artists. If a certain someone has a huge ego and insists on being promoted a certain way, why would he, an artist himself, refuse to do so or advice against it? Let's use logic a minute.

As a fan you feel a certain way because fanbases love competition but that still ain't Beyoncé's business.

I mean I don’t feel like I’m being punished per se. Like I still found a way to justify those concert prices in this dystopian economic climate and bought them, as did thousands upon thousands of other fans. There was also “Club Renaissance” themed events that took place in several major cities around the world that left a mark on the fans who attended (I went to one and it was an experience that trumped any Beyoncé related experience I’ve had apart from attending the FWT). I just mentioned Rihanna at met gala because Beyoncé most definitely could have been a highlight the way she was, especially since the night was honoring a man who started his career working for Balmain. The theme was perfect for her to take part in (assuming the Cuff It ensemble was ever meant to be revealed there) That to me felt like a healthy compromise (along with a a Grammy performance)… I can understand her not wanting to take a flight to and from NY a week before embarking on her European leg of the tour though.

That's fine. But the lack of communication is the issue here. Parkwood and Yvette seemed to have alluded to having alot planned in lieu of "taking our time". Simply the confusion on the follow up single from BMS after they pulled it, which was silly.

Parkwood readies one thing while Columbia is sending the song thats going viral to radio after they wanted Alien Superstar. That was 8 months ago. If you know things are rocky, why not put measures in place to soften the blow instead of going ghost like that? It's just not endearing or professional.

Both Parkwood and Columbia gave up when they realized they cant understand Bey's mind lol. Parkwood is full focused on Chloe and Halle now and Columbia on their other artists. They cant force a grown woman to do anything she doesn't want to do, not after she has been that damn long in the business. She is not a new act, she doesn't need anyone telling her what to do period.

That ''new single going to radio'' is for the birds. Have you not been reading her last interviews? breaking down systematic dated old rules? mean what exactly to you? because in her last interview that's what she said she was on her way to do and she seems to be doing that alright. She warned y'all. Many of you did not want to hear.

I'm not worried about any other girl which is why I said bringing up that other girls antics when Bey doesn't need it is futile.

I'm worried about her brand and legacy and how she's not capitalizing off her catalog. This has been an issue for a decade and too many excuses have been made. I'm worried that the excuses from diehards say that she's so in love, has 3 kids when she said that you have to have your own life and passion before obtaining both of those.

We claim she doesn't have to do anything BUT as an entertainer who put out a whole album... she kinda does. Bey is not some indie act selling cd's out the trunk of her car. She runs a whole label where even her own artist got burned over Beys handsoff approach. Her mentor Prince would never. And Sade still gave interviews. So I'm confused about what inspiration she supposedly gets from them.

Some people act like she's the first mother in history to have a job :deadbanana4:

Let's not act like she's so put out. She finds time to do an entire collection with Olivier and found the time to work on Ivy Park only for it to flop but all we've gotten is cheaply made t-shirts this era. She managed to perform at a super exclusive show in Dubai that must have taken quite a lot of her time and energy but couldn't at least sit down and sing Plastic Off the Sofa at the GRAMMYs for the fans who made the album a success.

Which, again! Her prerogative. But people are allowed to be upset about it.

-Tiffany campaign no one asked for

-Ivy Park tanking miserably

-Private Dubai performance for millionaires only

-no visuals, performances, hints about other acts

thank God the tour is beginning because this era is disastrously bad

I won't be purchasing remixes on her website or merch going forward for the other acts and I'm sure many people feel the same way. She milked us for what she could at the beginning and then dipped :rip: The four different boxes were smart from a business perspective but we were kinda dumb for eating it up :deadbanana2:

The way we thought the reveal of the poses would be something :skull:

CLIQUEBAIT and ITG teaser being trolls :skull:

how can everything go so wrong

Never ever EVER thought I’d attend a Beyoncé opening night with the mindset “hope for the best, prepare for the worst” asdfghjkl a mess

Well to be fair (to ourselves dd) they DID lead us to believe this would be a return to a more traditional rollout. We got dates, we got times, we got clues, we got some advance publicity. And so with the boxes and the vinyls we thought we were investing in the era and expected a return because that’s the way it works. But it was a bait and switch and as soon as she logged her #1s we were back to beyhydration. We weren’t dumb, we were actually pretty rational. :giraffe:

The reveal of the poses was hilarious tho :deadbanana: Never forget that one member who got the shirt with crumbs in the box. Iconic.

This base is like an echo chamber of insanity and doomsday prophecies :skull: things are really not that bad..

Although I’m looking forward to y’alls class action lawsuit against her for emotional distress, and the following trial. Force her to show up in that courtroom :sistrens:
