I saw users saying Beyonce doesn't own Parkwood or her masters and she's actually a slave for Sony. Beyoncé feels like a blank slate at times for people to project on, but she seems fine with it because she doesn't do anything to try and deter that.

This is really my only complaint with her. Like yeah the visuals not being released is whatever, but she is THEEE performer of a generation, and she makes it so hard to see her performances. 
 

We haven’t had a proper tour video release since the I Am… tour (OTR was filmed and aired, but then disappeared into the void. I think it’s back streaming somewhere now? And don’t even get me started on x10 for MCSWT). Iconic performances like the VMA medleys are not uploaded on YouTube. It blows my mind lol

 

edit - I forgot about Homecoming 💀 but the point still stands. So many of her performances are hard to find

Its just a discussion. I don't even comment much. But I have watched many of Hive jump through hoops, only to tell others that everyone needs to move on. 

 

Well.. alot of people have. Hive was fun in the 2011-14 era. There shouldn't be discussion on album ranks in the middle of an era. If everyone keeps "moving on" she'll be selling $35 tickets perfoming at 70% capacity arenas like another black female icon. And if she's fine with that, okay.  But that won't stop the discussion.

It's not a discussion at this point, it's an increasingly toxic wall of noise. Futile noise at that. The stuff that people feel free to say about her and demand of her just because they're "fans" is frankly unhinged. I wish my only disappointment was that we don't see more of her, but some fans are making it 100 times more unpleasant than it needs to be.

As much as some of us have crossed the line, the meltdowns are not happening out of nowhere. Most of the Beyhive have been stans for 15+ years. If you’re frustrating those people, there’s obviously something wrong. We know she doesn’t like to be in public, promote etc, we’ve heard her say all these things. The bottom line is the era is still completely disappointing and confusing to anyone paying attention

maybe these girls would’ve been happy with 7 years of just Ivy Park alone or IG videos of her having fun & twirling around in her panties to different pop songs for relatability. But we got a whole album of excellent music and a new tour. If this is Beyoncé’s version of aging diva, veteran status…I’ll take quality music being at the forefront of it as the compromise than no promise of music at all.

The scariest thing about this whole situation to me is I’m not even confident that she will go out 100% for the tour.  It’s been so long since we have seen her on the stage for real, and the rumours of ankle or whatever issues have me worried.

It’s been months for y’all to adjust though. Like what did you think when she didn’t show up to promote break my soul anywhere? Get over it, I thought y’all were over it and ready for the tour by now. Like what the **** are y’all really this upset over her not going to thr ******* met gala that y’all lost all sense? If you’ve been beyhive for 15 years you know she’s been becoming more of a recluse with each passing year 

Mad about an era that she never promised. She never said she was going to any events or anything like literally everything has been fan speculation that you guys are mad wasn’t true. Get. Over. It.  The tour is in like a week like maybe get excited over that instead of being mad she doesn’t do red carpets like that anymore as if that hasn’t been the case for like 5 years

It is but whatever that’s what makes the tour more exciting for me. That’s where she shines brightest, on a stage MOTHERING 

 

And I also don’t get why y’all are crying like 2013 wasn’t way worse and things were actually PROMISED that didn’t come to fruition that time. but also showed that just because things don’t go how we thought they were gonna go doesn’t mean something bad, it usually means something better is coming and we literally just have to wait
