the fact that they think taking the phones of 50K+ people is a smart idea :deadbanana4:

We need it to go viral so she is all over tiktok, that's the only thing that will sell remaining tickets and boost streams. Taking phones of 50 - 80k people is not going to happen. Would be a nightmare. You could just take 2 phones anyway.

Im more upset about the lack of singles this era. Like no visuals is one thing, but to push two singles and done on an album full of potential hits is lame. Heated and/or AHAP could have been everywhere this coming summer, but maybe she’s trying to limit the exposure. Assuming there will be a second and third album over the next 2 years, dumping 4-5 singles and countless new videos between each era could render her overexposed.

I wanna say I'm disappointed with bey this era not cuz I'm doubting her intentions or art of anything, but to me as a fan she's come off as very cold. Everytime she's interacted has only been to ask for money. In an era focused on joy it feels sad. Plus, I can cope with no visuals, but no performance sucks. It's a big part of what I love about bey and that really left a gap. I understand her being private and mysterious and a mother and woman in her Prince era etc etc. But it does feel bad to feel neglected while the only public moves she makes is for Diamond companies and Oil rich tax havens.

Either way, once she starts the tour I'll be all stan mode so it doesn't matter anyway but yeah!

Collect your coins beyonceeee!

This is exactly my assessment of the entire era up to this point, and it’s completely justified, in all honesty. It’s also a sentiment that anyone should be allowed to express without being gaslit by the stanbase and chastised that you’re complaining constantly or “asking for too much” of her. :skull: And I’m speaking from the perspective of someone that’s been a Bey stan for nearly like 20 years. Point is if you’re putting out a project that you want people to engage in, give them a reason to be engaged. And I’m not even really referring to visuals (which I mostly don’t care for atp, and will just consume whenever they decide to put them out). But minute acknowledgment of the album only when it benefits her (Grammys, for example) feels a bit cavalier.

I’m mostly convinced that it’s to advance a narrative of the album being able to sell on her name alone without any additional tactics and, I mean, I guess. But it is what it is — it’s not really something I’m upset about or tapping my heels over (there’s more music out there to consume), but any fan wouldn’t help but feel somewhat annoyed, genuinely.

The tour part is spot-on, though. I’ll be gagging, getting my life, and it’ll be business as usual. Don’t know how she does it. :gaycat6:

Yup. We should be going into the 4th single by now. Love the music, but the era itself is a dud.

Could genuinely see the interludes being like Coachella where she does skits and ballroom scenes. Dancers voguing while she changes 925056538891145246.gif?size=96&quality=l

Y’all think she’ll show at the Tiffany event today? It looks like a big deal. I’ve seen street etc barricaded off, and a huge crowd.

Locking up phones is practically dangerous these days, especially at a stadium show. Sad to say but it's the world we're living in right now.

Like how they gone hold 60,000 phones???

I imagine they would use a technology like these pouches. I've been to only one show in my life that used them, and it was a private Ella Mai concert with maybe 150-200 people in attendance, but I hear Madonna and Chris Rock have used this service as well.

Honestly why are we even talking about this though, who started the no phone mess? :bibliahh:

if you can unlock it yourself in the lobby what is the point of it lol....who is going to stop me from walking in with an unlocked pouch in a stadium of 70K? :lmao:

they check at the door as you return to your seat obviously (and they definitely keep eyes on you if you exit to the lobby to use your phone).

This ***** would….one big disco ball, a couple of lights and the lyric videos she gave us last summer flashing in the background as she prances around and has 100 dancers on stage.

yeah I do not see it working in a stadium. I am doubtful she'd have a no phone policy, literally who came up with this? do we have a source or was it just mentioned as a joke?

she wasn't even able to enforce it in a highly-exclusive show in Dubai. no way she could make it work in mf New Jersey. :dies:

Those were theater shows. And imagine you have an emergency: you have navigate through five hundred and have to wait for security to sift through 1000+ plus phones. Sounds awful

I’m still a LITTLE optimistic for some kinda announcement May 1st. I understand doubt but y’all are doing too much. BeyLegion definitely has tea.

Why would there be a no-phone policy? We need the tour ALL OVER TIKTOK

I don't think there will be, but someone brought it up a few pages back and that's what everyone is responding to.

Me and this is EXACTLY what they used at the Dave Chapelle show, they give it to you and lock the bag, your phone never leaves your side.

A little birdie has shared to me in private that she hired her own personal security for the show, and they have been tasked to taser anyone who is seen recording during the show. Move is actually the only Rennie song that’s getting performed as well. Don’t ask me how I know, but trust me bro

I’ll bring my old phone as a decoy with with my current phone up my ass, idc I have nothing to lose. Julius himself can take me down and throw me out and I’d still find pleasure in it. Memories.
