Radio 1 isn't urban radio. And following off the radio hit cuff if, I think it's in a decent place not to mention the literal tour beginning in 2 weeks. 

 

But judging by that radio edit, I don't think it's official. Will be cute to see if there is any boost in the UK

Since others asked I think Freedom was another UK only single.  Across Europe Hold Up was changed to the lead after 2 weeks of back and forth. Initially station/countries just picked their favs, then Columbia tried to issue Sorry as a lead across the EU/UK. Then eventually made the right choice and stuck with song people had already resonate with most in terms of sales and streams

If I'm not mistaken she did 6 dates in Japan during IAWT or TBE & 2 dates in SK. Makes me wonder why did she all of sudden abandon those markets?

Even though this is one my fave Beyoncé looks of all time, she’s not the fashion girl she thinks she is. She’s famous, she’s influential, she does have fashion moments, but her taste in fashion is not CONSISTENT ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ 

It's kinda tacky now but at the time it was pretty revolutionary.

Thr theme was man vs machine. Most people chose machine and wanted to do stereotypical futuristic y2k reloaded looks. Bey chose man and was actually "wearing skin". 

 

And this was the job of the designers to fully explain this. Cause the look was unique and fun enough for that type of event. I think Bey showing up alone took most of the press that night.

Its bc Asia is her weakest commercial market.

Tbh Asia only supports music that is heavily safe and digestable to a YT audience, hence why ppl like Taylor smashing over there rn. So when she did the 123 punch of ethnic music and the “idgaf about charts” attitude, Asia cut their ties. Although she could lowkey book shows in Bangkok and Kuala Lumpar since shes still doing moderately well there.

the makeup was so bad though 

I had a dream in which during the finale of the tour, glitter and confetti are released on the crowd from the roof of the stadium. But the confetti is practically adhesive… like really gooey and impossible to remove in a neat or timely manner. And so we’re all leaving the venue covered in sticky glitter. And I can only come to the conclusion that this would be her plan to have her stans easily identified as homosexuals and thus targeted for hate crimes. Her mind.

The makeup ruined the look. The vision for the dress was kinda there (besides the shoulder pads )

Uhm…about that second stockholm show.

The latest episode of The Simpsons is pretty good. I love the Beyoncé parody character. It’s very Taylor Vs. Bey coded (in a fun innocent way). It also shows how Taylor and Bey has had an immense cultural impact and crafted their own distinct artistic styles.
