If she’s not releasing act ii soon, I can see both Alien Superstar (along with a remix as she did with Break My Soul and Cuff It) as third single and Heated (ft. Drake) as fourth single

Wish I had actually kept with playing instruments cause I have a vision of an I’m That Girl/Crazy In Love tour intro that’s going all the way off in my mind, but I can’t put it to paper.

Dangerously in Love made sense because it's the title track, it's not one of the singles so feels like a deep cut from an already ubiquitous album, and in fact she DID showcase Crazy in Love at the Grammys for a little bit in the Prince performance.

 

If I Were a Boy also made sense to me because it actually was a big hit that sort of got forgotten after Single Ladies and Halo, and so kind of wrapped up the era in that why by not leaving it behind for the more notable songs, and gave her the chance to reference Alanis Morissette the night she broke her Grammys record.

 

And pregnant, Love Drought / Sandcastles was the best meaning she could have put on stage. Her doing Formation would have been very weird.

 

And I think all of the above are defining performances of the era and also some of the best of her career.

 

The only choice I think was weird was doing Listen for B'Day, and I understand she was promoting it and Irreplaceable had peaked already.

and...it's so good. the way she approaches the runs and harmonies... the way she is able to add a bit of extra flavour or variation we hadn't heard on the original like when she sings "niiiight".... so good.
