I agree but it doesn’t make sense for the visuals not to be out either. She would need to have act 2 visuals ready because she probably won’t be filming them during a tour.

The GP still don't know that "6 Inch"/"Don't Hurt Yourself" videos exist..   I get leaving Forward, PYCM, and Freedom as exclusives to the visual film (because these take place in the forest with her special guests), but these two specifically do much of the heavy-lifting of the album and would definitely drive streams upwards. The comments on these unofficial uploads (one with a whopping 15M views) tell the whole story.

I could see Act II released in the fall between the NA leg and wherever she's going after that

Maybe she was gonna be done with act i by now, but the visuals got delayed and the foot injury occurred

Because they're conceptually tied. I still expect act 2 this year and think it can even land before the tour but I don't think acts restrict the timing of release.

I dont think so. Lana & Taylor can smash with moody material, the main thing is Lemonade doesn't have exposure. The singles never lived on streaming and the album was re-eleased without fan fare 3 years lare. I do think the general weight/mood of the album limits it's repeatability but that's not really the explanation for it's struggling past 600k. The singles alone should be doing 1m

the fact america has a problem pulls twice as much as formation daily… yeah that album needs some playlisting, exposure, clips on youtube….

That's because moddy material is what they are famous for?

The tone of Folklore is not what Taylor is famous for. Beyonce smashed with DIL which is tonally different from all her other singles. Formation/Hold up/Sorry aren't moody and most catalogue streams are orientated around singles, not people streaming albums in whole. So again, the moodiness of Lemonade is not the primary fault of its low streams.

I feel sorry for the people who still think that Bey has a chance of winning AOTY. I’d even be surprised if she was top 3 in the voting tbh.
