My God BEYONCE, who are you? Tour anouncement AND a Cuff It Remix AND Grammy night - all within a week?

:jonny:

She mustve gotten annoyed by my constant negativity. Bullying DOES WORK :jonny5:

She loves  our wallets us again :clap3:

Hoping for a Grammy performance next

I'm probably being over critical but she has much vocal performances of IIWAB than what she gave at the Grammy's

She wants that tour sold owwttt

It's great but you can hear she kind of blew her stamina at the begining and struggles with the verse afterwards. She can do better.

Personally I'm not sure she's performing at the Grammy's. I could see her pushing visuals teaser instead though

There was no kind, shape or form of struggle whatsoever.

OT: IIWAB IS her best Grammy performance. Anyhow, I hope she performs.

It will furtherly boost the hype for the tour, so yeah. It's in her interest.

I really hope she has an iconic performance at the Grammys, if you think about it she really hasn’t done a huge groundbreaking performance of her solo work there, there’s nothing to really reference on that stage that people can look back to. Prince and Tina were great but nothing of her own.

DIL was cute, but an album track. Opening with Prince was good, arguably her most iconic stage moment there.

Listen, she was sick, the weave flat but she looked nice.

Proud Mary, great with Tina but not her work.

If I Were A Boy, nice performance but a bit forgettable. Not what people were expecting on such a big night.

DinL, nice promo slot, good timing, nothing memorable.

Take My Hand, nice tribute and vocals but she needed to do her own work.

Sandcastles/Love Drought, great gowns, beautiful gowns and stage but forgettable songs.

We haven’t gotten a big performance of her big singles there where it just blows everything out of the water. BMS/Cuff It would fill just that. Especially if they win.

OMG, was just talking about this with a friend. it's crazy how NONE of her iconic performances have been at the Grammys. None. You literally summed up my EXACT take on each of those performances. if it wasn't one thing, it was the other.

I will say that ALL have been instrumental in her becoming an artist that appeals to all and I think she makes a point of driving in opposite direction to prove a point. But it's kind of crazy how many GP hits she has versus how many of them she's managed to cement on the Grammy stage.

I don't think the Shammys deserve an iconic performance but IIWAB is definitely her best

Grammy night could be so many things. It's equal parts exciting and anxiety-inciting.

On the performance front, I'm not holding my breath. HOWEVER...

If she does, I'm more so thinking it will be her doing an edited pre-recorded performance (like the Oscars). A combo of it being so long since we've seen her perform in an actual live environment like this, the ability it gives her to edit it to perfection, her leg, her being extra, and the fact the Grammys will likely take whatever she gives them makes me feel this will be the route (if any). It essentially HAS to go off without a hitch given its proximity to tour ticket sales.

I also think that maybe there's more to this Cuff It remix dropping now. Sure, it could just be to help the song and give content amidst the tour hype, but I wouldn't be surprised if this is the version she performs at the Grammys.

One thing that isn't lost on me is the fact that we still don't have the visuals. While it won't be the end of the world, I can't see her pre-empting the Cuff It choreo etc before the video drops (which I doubt is happening before the Grammys). IMO, it's much more likely she'll curate something super specific for the Grammys (down to totally different choreo to match the slow jam vibe of the remix) to save the big reveal with the visuals.

All conjecture, of course. But IMO it's more plausible than a performance of the song as we know if. All factors considered.

Can care less about TheShammys

any update on her going to the Brits.
perfect opportunity to launch Alien as the 3rd single.

True. Or America Has A Problem tbh. That one would work really well in the UK as well

That’s what I’ve been saying but I’m afraid Cuff Hit will never peak and Alien Superstar would end up being robbed of its moment

why would she perform that remix tho ? imo, at best she’d do a small bit of it and transition to the original à la CIL remix / original.

But her performing CI/Energy/BMS seems ten times more logical than just performing the remix. To me the remix just means she knows that a cuff it performance will help the tour (as if it needed any help lol) sell AND make cuff it repeak and wants to have the remix out to help/count for this week’s charts

DIL, IIWAB and Love drought are all 10/10 performances. What are you talking about rhrjhrjfjf she always gives at the Grammys

“Not what people were expecting on such a big night”. Huh? Beyoncé ATE that stage with IIWAB. What are talking about? It’s her Grammy’s best performance. It was also iconic enough for Olivia Rodrigo: https://uproxx.com/music/olivia-rodrigo-beyonce-grammys-performance-inspired/

The thought of seeing this again at the RWT makes me wet my jock :jonny5:

If she does perform I think it’ll be a medley of BMS & Cuff it.

They’re good performances but are they really representative of their corresponding era? Are any of them a defining performance? You would think she would have performed CIL, Irreplaceable, Halo/Single Ladies, Love on Top, Formation, songs that defined that era.

DIL IIWAB and love drought are definitely defining performances. who cares if she does the biggest song from the era I think she purposefully subverted that expectation multiple times to give us EXCELLENCE.

DIL was cute but she performed better at the Divas.

Love Drought was great but Sandcastles dragged it down.

Only IIWAB was thoroughly enjoyable and didnt have any flaws.

3 excellent performances and sandcastles. She always stomps at the Grammys :weeps:

It would kinda be a serve if she performed Cuff It with the mic cuffed to her hand like in the cover art. :gaycat2:

Also does anyone think her making Precious Lord from the 2015 GRAMMYs available again on YouTube is a hint to the fans that she's performing? Way too random.
