Ppl ignoring the FACT that the Dubai performance (and the fact that this is her first full performance in nearly half a decade) is contradictory to the intentions of the Renaissance album are the fake fans in here

She could perform for Putin for all I care if she at least gave us, her fans, content and performances as well. The fact that this is literally all shes doing anymore is what leaves a sour taste in my mouth at least.

Get your money up.

collect A disposable 24 mill and get the show you feel you’re entitled to. :giraffe:

Whether the performance tea is true or not

Bey gonna do what she wants and the people that don’t have an identity outside of celebrity will have to deal

Bey is not your friend.

A good album full of dance bops doesn’t she mean she cares or advocates for you!

Know that and know peace.

This is SUCH a sh*tty, ******* take. Wow.

Nobody is wanting her to be our friend or have made her our identity, we’re wanting her to care about human rights as opposed to her bank account. Something you clearly don’t.

THIS is what bootlicking looks like. It’s one thing just disagreeing, but it’s another thing to say sh*t like this.

one day they will accept that bey doesn’t owe them a damn thing.

glad twitterhive isn’t partaking in this faux niche outrage that’s occurring on here.

I dont care that shes performing in Dubai because its Dubai, I'm annoyed because shes not performing anywhere anymore unless for the private rich elite. Thats what bothers me.

this I understand. what will be disappointing is that this album with queer influences and ballroom references has not been performed for the fans (who keep those cultures and influences alive) yet. a random private hour-long set is something people tend to do in their off seasons, not when they've released the most acclaimed album of the year. Renaissance begs for a celebration and we haven't exactly gotten that yet, whether it's a documentary, an interview, a performance, or a visual element. Club Renaissance was a good idea but a very limited opportunity.

any other complaints and takes are weird and read like they're coming from people who have had no interest in the Middle East, no knowledge of it, and only decided to care about human rights abuses there (or anywhere in the world really) when Beyoncé decided she might perform for a hotel.

Rennée had plenty of celebration via club renaissance. And lets be honest once bey does decide to grace us with a tour. The same zorls will be on here weeping over ticket prices and how hard to get the tickets are. They are NEVER satisfied…which is why they get NOTHING.

Period!

It ain’t bootlicking to acknowledge and be aware that bey is out for her self and pockets, like every other celeb.

No amount of tears , thinkpieces etc will change that

the truth right here. no one with a half-billion dollar net worth will have your moral compass.

if Beyoncé or any performer had this mindset of "oh, look at their constitution and government, they're violating human rights!" they would have maybe a handful of countries to perform in (and it would not include USA or UK).

You are really weird tbh. The way u are happy about getting less and less as a fan is irritating to say the least. Make it make sense. Whats So satisfactory about that?

When you’re here for the ART. The music is enough. #GetLikeMe.

I have more empathy with people annoyed by the politics, because if your complaint is the fact that fans wont see this, the Grammy's is right around the corner. This is also The Only thing she's doing since album release. It's not like she performed a random show in October for elite and continued to ignore fans & the album for months afterwards.

I still dont believe shes gonna perform at the Grammys tbh. Ive lost all hope and expectations with Bey.

I get the feeling she doesnt like performing and putting in the hours anymore unless she gets paid big time for it. Shes purely extrinsically motivitated at this point (it seems)

But quite literally the last concert she put on was in December 2018 for an elite Indian wedding. Do you not find it even a little weird that the only two concerts she’s given in the last four years have been private events for the elite, even though she has had a brand new album out for the last five months?

The amount of gaslighting in this base is truly astronomical, trying to convince people who aren’t jumping up for joy over this weird decision that we’re in the wrong for being “entitled.”

Imagine thinking being disappointed that your fave has only done two concerts in four years and they’ve both been private events for billionaires with massive paychecks — with the most recent performance somewhat contradicting the entire alleged purpose of her latest album given the politics around it — is being entitled.

Lol at you conveniently leaving out that in that same December 2018 she performed at the Global Citizen concert in South Africa for free99 :skull:

or that OTR 2 was in that same year. This game of semantics y’all play to come off as self inflicted victims.

Just now, G'Day said:

I said the last concert she put on. Global Citizen was before the Indian wedding. Global Citizen was on December 2, 2018 the Indian wedding was on December 9, 2018. Hence, The Indian wedding was the last concert she gave. What’s hard to understand about that?

Reading is fundamental.

It doesn’t matter. You’re trying to paint this picture of the deprived fan when 2018 doesn’t represent that at all. As I said a game of semantics.

honestly hope bey doesn’t perform at the Grammys. At this point the hive doesn’t deserve a grammy performance.

2 minutes ago, G'Day said:

I hope she doesn’t perform either. And I hope the tour gets cancelled or the tickets are $50,000 a pop so only the super rich can afford to attend.

She doesn’t owe anyone anything so why even bother going on tour at all? Y’all are good with just the music so you don’t need to see her on tour either. Bring on Act II and Act III and nothing else! Or scrap both albums since the Hive doesn’t deserve any more new music anyway.

The eat the rich hive def don’t deserve act 2 & 3.

go support an indie act on soundcloud

Lord, I hope she doesn’t start charging a premium for her future albums once she’s too old to perform and can’t make money from her private billionaire concerts anymore.

Then brown-nosing Hive won’t be able to listen to her new music either

Whatever she can do to drive entitled hive up the wall

bring back the tidal only releases. :heart2:

The purely idiotic takes in here. Lol. Just end the discussion - the horse is dead

I am screaming at the infighting here. Whew!

It really isn't a good look with what she's doing but it is what it is. I think it's wishful thinking that this private concert will fund the visuals. And politics aside, it seems like the fans really got robbed. Buying all these exclusive box sets to result in getting scraps for months. The music is amazing and it's clear that she took her time crafting this album.

She's entitled to get her cash and support her family. I don't see any problem with that. But can she show some appreciation for her fans? I could care less about an instagram post with "love you deep." I range from indifference to comically laughing about it.

She should introduce a "everyone but atrl-user onmycoolj can stream or purchase my album"-policy just to rile u up. Would make me smile and happy :)
