This base is officially dead, much like the era. We really lost, huh?

  • It was the best concert of my life, bar none. Idc!    It was extraordinary, it was ineffable.  I knew I loved it based on the videos but I... Hey I don't know.    Best moment

I know this award is a joke but the point is, she has cemented herself in history with the likes of Whitney and Lauryn. And on top of that she won an award for a genre that completely ridiculed and ex

RENNY is really fighting for her life on that albums chart. Harry, Benito, Drake, Taylor, Lil Baby, The Weeknd, and the racist who's found a way to make the most of the trailer park communities in West Virginia. She's fought to stay in the mix for 3+ months, all with a neglectful and absentee mother.

She's fought for ha platinum plaque, she's fought for the billionaire status on Spotify and she's still gagging the girls on Apple Music, and what has Mrs. Giselle done?

RENNY truly deserves the world, but the world doesn't deserve ha...

Repeat posting to keep this base alive. Let's at least do that for our girl. (RENNY not the other one).

Can someone please ID where this gif is from? Ciara and Ms. Whitfield? I didn't know Ciara did Tyler Perry. Much like with her Idol Janet, he really keeps the girlie employed. I wonder when Beyoncé will get her call, this era reminds me alot of his movies...

I’ve completely checked out from this era and the base the last couple of days and I came back and see nothing has changed. I hope that geriatric hasbeén burns her nasty vegan cooking and her yacht gets capsized

It’s from Mama I Want to Sing, and is shockingly not a Tyler Perry production :rip:

I knew Ms. Whitfield was too good for Tyler Perry...

Wasn’t Whitfield on Madea’s Family Reunion lol.

Doesn't Tyler play Madea?

Y’all, unless the visuals are life changing, it’s probably past.

I’m shocked people are still asking about them.

The real question: is act ii and iii scrapped?

:clownny:

Right… :lmao:

I literally went on vacation to Asia and came back and EVERYTHING IS STILL THE SAME :lmao: I can’t what a mess

We already know the set list for the tour, really.

There’s no way she doesn’t perform Renaissance in order from front to back. That’s the entire point of the album. It’s supposed to be experienced in that way, hence the immaculate transitions.

So basically it’s going to be Renaissance and a greatest hits tour.

I’m so glad I won’t have to hear resentment on the Renaissance tour. I despise that song so much :jonny: Glad that resurgence is over!

If I never hear Resentment and Get Me Bodied again in my life, it still won’t be long enough.

As for visuals, I’m genuinely past caring at this point. It’s beyond a joke and she she has really taken our patience and love for granted with this wait.

I understand not wanting to rush your art but I really really hope she’s not expecting the release of the visuals to be a culture-shifting moment after this long ass wait :rip: Girl, nobody cares anymore I’m afraid.

the way she managed to kill the hype.... this might hurt her tour numbers.  none of this makes sense, i guess a lot of mess has been going behind the scene.

Doubt it.

Annoyingly, though, the ambiguity allows her to essentially make "act ii" and "act iii" whatever she wants and flip-flop between concepts.

An insider told us verbatim that it was at least more than one album, with the suddenly era shifting from a single project to a multi-part project last year. So, IMO, it's clear there's more material for sure. It's plausible she was creatively exploring different sounds and said "f*ck it, imma drop em all" and is letting that be her latest "game-changing" innovation.

The thing is, she could come back and do that (e.g. drop two more albums). Or, as others have speculated, make the visuals "act ii" and the tour act iii. The lack of specificity initially allows it to be whatever she wants now.

One part of this that is providing slight (and I mean slight) comfort is that Bey has never EVER been one of those artists to announce something and not follow-through. Her whole brand is "perfection" (at this point, to the level of irritation).

So, there will be an act ii and iii. Even if what they ultimately are aren't what was initially "the plan". Bey is annoying but it's not in her artistic or brand DNA to not deliver on something already announced. Key term: already announced.

But I agree with y'all.

For all the perfection she's angling for. This is for sure going one of two ways (no in between):

* She comes with something so mind-blowing that she gets a huge pass and praise to the moon and back. A ST-sized moment.

* BIK: something The Hive applaud and history will look back kindly on, but not the moment it could have been. Almost visuals for the sake of having visuals and epic moments the masses ultimately never see collectively.

Outside of the stan stuff, I really (really) hope we get "some" insight as to what went down. Whether in a doc or some Variety article etc.

Was it always the plan (music first, visuals later as her capacity allowed for)? Was she unsatisfied with what she had in the can a few months back? After all, we know there were reshoots.

I'm not buying that with all the corporations Bey has in her corner that specifically have to be aligned  for a project of this magnitude (Parkwood, Columbia, Live Nation) that they collectively decided to drop the ball with her most important project since 2016. There are a lot of cooks in the "Beyonce" kitchen that actually wield more power than she does, so given how much money, financial projections, etc are on the line for ALL OF THEM that there's not a reason (one that has to satisfy these multi-billion dollar companies) for this wait.

That's not to say the wait will be worth it. But, believe it or not, cut-and-dry incompetence IMO is the LEAST likely scenario. Not when there's no much at stake fiscally speaking (see; Bey would be pissing off/muddying relationships with corporations beyond just her fans).
