Plus Bey can easily tour Europe while Taylor and Ed Sheeran are in the US.

Spoiler

I forgot Abel and two rock bands are also doing stadiums too. :deadbanana2:

I know this award is a joke but the point is, she has cemented herself in history with the likes of Whitney and Lauryn. And on top of that she won an award for a genre that completely ridiculed and ex

Can we use common sense here? Bookings are done MONTHS in advance. The fact that Taylor was able to rebook some of these same stadiums indicates that availability isn’t the problem…

This.

Both were planning tours long before that.

They're very clearly unprepared, but if Taylor is booking multiple shows then maybe there's an issue.

Beyoncé has demand, but not Taylor Swift level stateside, so it's not like she's going to get first dibs lbr.

But at the same time, I see her booking smaller stadium venues than Taylor would.

Sure but both of them must have done it before their albums, way before. Do I don't see how they could fall on the same booking's timeline.

And Taylor keeps adding a lot of dates in numerous cities which means there was still a lot of availability no?

The only “issue” I can see with availability is working around the scheduling of sports games; which those are always booked like a year in advance.

Tours (esp stadiums) are usually booked long before they are announced. I find it hard to believe Taylor ruined it.

And she's always been rumoured to do other continents in those same dates, Taylor wasn't the issue.

I think Taylor's extra dates were probably planned before announcing the first ones tho, it's not like she can know the demand if people don't even know her prices. Either way, most acts book Saturdays and there's days in the middle to assemble and disassemble the different stages, so it's relatively easy to add an extra day on Friday or Sunday without compromising bookings.

Taylor was never the issue. :lmao:

Which is why I don’t understand some of us comparing Taylors every move to what Bey is doing lol.

You're probably right, that's a good point. Indeed it would make sense that artists would secure additional bonus dates in case the ones announced are not enough to meet the demand.

Yeah. Taylor is def a non-effect for the booking portion. Industry had known she was booking a massive tour for months, and it's not hard to plan around it.

I could see Taylor impacting due to her announcement though. Bey's tickets would be going on sale RIGHT after Taylor's if they stick to Black Friday. I def think there is a shared demographic they have when it comes to touring audience (rich white people still love to flex by saying they went to see Bey).

Regardless, this era is still a last-minute MESS. I need a documentary expose on what exactly went down behind scenes :jonnycat:

Even if we got a documentary she would still portray herself as having everything under control at all times... :deadbanana4:

Its quite common depending on the artist and they demand in certain regions. They will book like a ghost date in case tix sell out fast. That’s why it usually looks weird when artists first drop dates and they have 3-8 day gaps between big cities.

Maybe the streaming services didn’t take the bait from the visual teaser and the offers weren’t high enough for her….

!!

and yes this era deserves a documentary cause wtf

She's making a film film, a cinematic one. The reason BMS wasn't released was because it'll spoil the storyline.

We know Zendaya and Keke Palmer are likely to be apart of it, and I doubt they'll just be there to look cute but rather actually act in this film. Something something diamonds and pearls alluding to Prince's album, references to opioids (America Has a Problem). Something something Matrix references, interstellar universes on that horse.

Y'all remember she did this for a damn tour. She can do it for an album.

!!!! Y’all just love to hate on bey it’s getting weird. Not atrl hive turning into wasps

The one thing I hope she and her team will take note of moving forward is how fans just want a traditional rollout at this point. We don’t care about anything “groundbreaking”. Surprise releases are over done at this point.

Just release a lead, video, album, second single, video and so on….

No need for all this change the game bs. It’s all just for the ego at this point. I wish she realized that.

It's not like she will be releasing anything other than those three acts this decade either way...

So far she’s done all of this except for the videos. This is her most traditional rollout in over a decade.

several insiders heard the same tea.

its coming to H*OM*x. Netflix apparently couldn't afford her.

I'm sure YouTube will post the videos for BMS and Cuff It just like she did with Already and BSG for Black is King.

But those same insiders said it's not coming any time soon.

So everyone needs to just relax lol....nothing is coming. if we get anything it'll be tour dates. save ur coins.

i have no idea what this means for act ii but i imagine it will be similar to this. so we just need to get used to it now girlies.
