Proper utilization of TikTok (not just copy pasting IG)

This is so important. TikTok is officially THEE platform. Not only social media, but entertainment (it is snatching YouTube's screentime).

Bey was one of the pioneers of perfecting Instagram as a celebrity, and even influencing how normies posted, so I don't know why they are so uninspired with their use of TikTok so far. I mean, the entire medium of the platform is something Bey is known for... videos.

TikTok played a major role in a certain blonde pop girl's rise to being THEE artist, more-so than her constant releases. Alien Superstar had amazing momentum growing on the app and what did they do?? Nothing :rip: Literally a simple quick and easy "transition" video using the sound would've made more noise and be bigger promo than any talk show performance/interview.

I know this award is a joke but the point is, she has cemented herself in history with the likes of Whitney and Lauryn. And on top of that she won an award for a genre that completely ridiculed and ex

I see Taylor Swift comparisons. After releasing folklore-evermore-Fearless in under 9 months, and then giving Red its dues, even that girl had to take a year-long break so that people would be hyped for her release.

Beyoncé hasn't been the type to churn out radio hits in a long while now, and she's surely not going to be one now when she has a THREE-ACT PROJECT lined up. They want people to be hyped for the visual, hyped for Act II, hyped for Act III. So I don't mind the silence as long as we get incredible works of art. She makes headlines without lifting a finger, why would she go on ratchet late night talk shows or Good Morning America concert series, like some of you are so unserious. VMAs is a DEAD platform, her attending/performing would benefit VMAs more than Beyoncé/Renaissance, especially in a year where her only eligible thing was "Break My Soul" for Song of the Summer.

I'm hopeful we'll know more in the coming days, with her birthday on the horizon. But even if we don't, the meltdowns are so funny to me because it's obvious they're trying to make sure GP and media is interested in the project. She can't just announce "visuals Sep. 5, Act II comes out Nov. 10, Act III on Feb. 12" because all of those will have their own moments. I know we wanna know more but it really is for the best.

like??? I don't think Breakfast Club is where her gay Uncle Johnny would have wanted to see this album promoted lmaooo not with their homophobic history

Reading some of yall’s posts makes me want to rip my hair out. We are 2 MONTHS into an era and the first single is being PULLED from radio with no news of a second single or visual. And y’all are talking about overexposure? She’s been on hiatus for six years for crying out loud.

This is too much. I hate people trying to gaslight others.

Right. Log off if it’s that hard to read a different opinion on things. :deadbanana:

It’s not the coping, it’s telling people they are crazy for thinking the era is a mess. That’s gaslighting

I'm not trying to gaslight or judge, but I don't understand. I got the meltdowns when we didn't have an album and time kept slipping and slipping. I got being annoyed she teased an album August 2021 and in June 2022 we had nothing...

But we have the album now. It's what we wanted. What does choosing a second single really mean to you? You're not going to listen to it on the radio, you're already streaming the entire album front to back.

I want the visuals, too, but again, we know they're coming. So why be upset? It's not like we're totally in the dark.

The second single is about pushing the album further and creating longevity. Also her catalog could use some more hits, tired of her putting her mic out to the crowd and most don’t know the words. For example I didn’t listen to Harry’s House however with his second single, late night talking it peaked my interest to go stream the album. More streams is the goal.

The visuals are just the Cherry on top.

They literally have the rainbow flag present during all their interviews

As a fan, I don’t think wanting success for her is a bad thing. Hell that’s the only reason I bought the vinyl, boxset and each track individually on iTunes. I would’ve been fine streaming the music on Tidal.

I think she makes for a great case study tbh. As successful as she is, she could be even more if successful if she played her cards right.

Where is @swissman to offer some positivity and kind words? Or did he do the smart thing log off til something new comes?

Quote me, don’t be subbing :lmao: But yes, I’ve done so many in school about the rise and fall of different businesses. She haven’t failed but I think some things could’ve been handled better.

No gaslighting necessary... Some of you just sound crazy. You'd think the album was out of the top 20 and the lead missed the hot 100 reading some of these takes.

My favorite parts of Make Me Say It Again Girl is at the 3 minute mark when she does the Second Nature “Ooh Yeah” and the last 15 seconds.

Y’all really think her not promoting is gonna make her go homeless and that her tour will flop and she’ll fade out of relevance… the hysteria is next level in here. You’d think people would get the memo the last 10 years how she operates but we keep beating the same dead disco horse. A shoplifter isn’t gonna learn their lesson after being scolded, they’re gonna march right back into that walmart and pay $5 for a brand new plasma tv! And you as the walmart employee just gotta sigh and move on with your day

Nah facts I feel like she reached a point in her career where she done it all. So shes like f-ck it.

The way AHAP just automatically CLICKED for me, I wish I could listen to it for the first time again:jonny5: the synth outro was the cherry on top I was already busting a nut but that sh*t took me to a higher plane of existence:jonny5:

Thique, Plastic off the sofa, and Summer Rennie all grew on me recently. Cozy is now my least listened to song though :dancehall2:

I don’t get all the complaining about visuals and future singles when the real meltdowns should be about the lack of live performances, with none in sight for the rest of the year.

Imagine being the greatest living performer and not giving a single live performance two months into your first new era in six years.

Maybe she developed stage fright during the pandemic and now only feels comfortable sending in pre-recorded performances.

:lmao: This is true. She could’ve booked the BET Awards and VMAs.

AHAP hit for me once I realized what she was talking about. I love when she talks **** about herself:jonny4: The album begins with Cozy for me. I’m That Girl probably haven’t gotten 20 plays from me.

Blow/Cherry fits so well with this album especially with its structure.
