I don't think they're pressed on promo because act ii is around the corner and that itself is going to push the entire trilogy project I fear. Start viewing this project as a single era . I was thinking ~50 videos was unrealistic, but it's really just a 3 hr film.

Yeah the way Taylor has literally taken over TikTok  and she barely posts on social media is a sight to behold. As a millennial she truly dominates Gen Z, they adore her. She is the music industry.

I'm actually quite excited for Taylor Midnight and it got me thinking about act 2. I'm not ready for her to let go the electronic side of Ren.

Bey’s been moved to top 4 and ain’t number 1,2, or 3 in the industry. 

Complaints about how Beyoncé handles her eras is part of the natural course. It doesn’t mean we hate her. But the “ass kissers” this era seem to be more hostile than ever. This place is a mess but twitter is even worse. Some examples of discourse from what i can remember and what Ive read:

Bday: stans literally created a petition for Beyoncé to reshoot the Deja Vu video. 2022 Hive are literal angels compared to them

IASF: fans were mad she released Diva with Halo. People wanted Halo/Hello. There was also complaints about IIWAB/SL dual single but only because they held SL off itunes until the album dropped (it was only on youtube) so IIWAB could be the only focus. Call it strategy but could’ve easily backfired if SL wasn’t so strong. Fans hated the Sweet Dreams video but no petition this time.

4: fans complained about the singles choices like we do today

BEYONCE: the beyhydration was brutal. Then we had a good December then it was back to poorly handling the era. Flawless Remix slaying Urban radio but not available digitally. Pretty Hurts being sent to Urban instead of Pop. And many other things

Lemonade: well, we all know

 

She'll land back from that boat after her birthday. The kids will go back to school and she'll then show up at Parkwood ready to play again and push the button on release for the videos lol. All that whining wont speed up her process or make it happen any sooner. 

 

Frankly i'm not mad at it at all. Do you Bey and let them whine! In the meantime the music is still hitting hard AF and make any other ''artist'' around look basic. Come Grammy time, white supremacy soldiers will hide behind that judging desk and pretend the basic music coming from some of their own is able to compete with anything on Renaissance but deep down they do know better and we know better. That's why the Grammys have become a joke and i've lost all respect for those clowns. I wish she would not submit and ignore them like she just ignored the VMAs.

Her visuals are so artsy and lengthy that it isn’t gonna be a big deal promotion wise. I think people are overstating the visuals because Self Titled and Lemonade albums debuted with videos at the same time. At this point, a visual  release will have the same impact like BIK or Bday anthology. Meaning mostly known by the fans . 
 

Sis needs an interview. That is what would break the Internet. A real one. Go on the breakfast club. If Beyonce did this and talked about her life, she will promote Renaissance better than a visual would

Not y'all back to realizing this era is a mess... some of us never stopped thinking it.

They got LUCKY with the 2 weeks #1 for BMS, but we are exactly back to where we were 6 weeks ago now... actually worse because BMS is about to start freefalling it with it peaking on radio and being dropped (FYI songs being "pulled" from radio isn't a thing. It's just a stan euphemism for when radio drops a song due to bad callouts/label cheques ending/whatever).

 

I don't care how much you guys scream "she has this planned all along", I will never not be convinced that the visuals of the era were a super last minute thing and they are scrambling to put them together. I mean she was quite literally FILMING whatever the mesh green outfit scene is a week before album release...

 

If this is how the rest of the third acts go, prayers for their reception.
