      I couldn't care less about her personal life - just like I didn't care about Dalton at all, however all of this, if true, does feel a bit weird considering the way she's portrayed herself in the past

    Have seen Wicked twice now and it's genuinely even better than I expected. Ariana was phenomenal. I don't think an Oscar nomination is unrealistic now.... I really hope she campigns cause I think it's in the cards. Not a win, but a nomination for sure.

    OMG how come this base is dead in the middle of Wicked release :skull:

     

    OMG I have just come back from watching Wicked and it's phenomenal. Her acting and singinf were both out of this world. Her singing in the movie kinda ate everyone else up including Elphaba. She sang she danced she acted she did everything possible in the movie. 

     

    That final note (is it a whistle note) in No One Mournes the Death even outdid the original.

     

    I hope she gets a nom for Best Supporting Actress. :jonny6:

    I was wondering the same! Wicked is so damn good - as someone who saw the show twice on Broadway (once in '04 and a second time two years ago), was played out the soundtrack all through high school, and also studied theatre in my undergrad, I was so happy with the love and care that was clearly put into this movie. You could also see how Ariana took Kristin Chenoweth's take on Glinda while also bringing her own flair to the role. That's kind of a big theme of what the movie did - it took what we love about the musical and expanded the world in a way that film can do. Loved it!!!

    Bagged the TUN vinyl from her shop :keir: ran so fast after I realised they ship it WW but it's been 5 hours and it's only half sold out nnn

     

    The Wicked vinyl on the other hand... They're so nasty for only having US shipping on the Republic Records website, and this Irish record store website I found has the shipping basically for the same price as the vinyl :deadbanana4: better than the local stores here though that want up to $120 for the record but still :deadbanana4: I guess I'll have to wait with this one or sumn
