I wish she copied K-Pop acts more with their amazing packaging/box editions. I bought the positions box set and it was a total waste of money tbh. The stickers aren't even working 

 

They should add books, photosets, signed copies, more posters etc. in those sets, use a nice box package etc. 

 

The Sweetener box set is a good example. The boxing package looks dope.

Now that I think of it, she never gave us one single good album cover in her entire career. After 6 albums... It has to be a record. 

 

I wish she put more effort into her physicals... Positions selling 30k+ in its first week in the US still doesn't sit right with me.

Positions is absolutely TRAGIC especially when you realize the Positions single cover was right there

her biggest issue right now with videos (positions and 34+35, kinda every music video) and album covers are that she’s always too conscious about strictly looking pretty in lieu of showing engaging visual storytelling

Sweetener is her most realized/conceptual album because she actually took the time to build the Sweetener world, but it still felt disjointed in terms of creative direction at times. 

 

Post-SWT she's cognizant of the fact that albums should be driven by a narrative/story so that it feels cohesive. Even if POS has duds, it's more or less organized in a way that 'makes sense' and the story of learning to love again is pretty clear.

 

 The tuna photoshoot remains tragic. Sweetener, positions, and dangerous woman are her best.

 

But the fact that she scrapped that entire positions photoshoot which she could've used in booklets, as individual single covers, etc. I swear it's self-sabotage at times

No but seriously? What's up with the editing of her pics? She looks amazing in that video. She even looks less skinny/healthier in the face which is heartwarming. 

It's only on her photos that she looks different. Her recent video clips say otherwise. They really are setting her up.

 

I do want her to do a concept album, and if that's disco album I'm fine as long as it's Donna Summer inspired. Art-pop or even purposeful pop are welcome, but we all know she's not one to do those.
