He had a 360 degree setup so was able to sell more tickets.  Still very impressive, but many popgirls with similar success could do similar numbers.

In addition to its innovate and sleek design, it helped maximize attendance. Ticket totals surpassed most buildings’ averages. State Farm Arena in Atlanta, for example, has an average of 9,186 tickets per show, according to Pollstar’s database, but “Love On Tour” averaged 15,573 on two consecutive nights; at D.C.’s Capital One Arena, which averages 10,260, “Love On Tour” had 18,903 tickets. His in-the-round average, according to Pollstar data, was a massive 17,120 per show.

 

If Styles were to continue at that clip for a full year, his ticket sales would reach 2.87 million, more than anyone on the pre-pandemic 2019 Top 100 Worldwide Chart and trailing only Ed Sheeran and Taylor Swift, who had massive stadium runs, on 2018’s chart. He also did it at a lower ticket price than four of the other top 10 tours of 2021, yet had the year’s second highest gross behind only The Rolling Stones.

His fan base is huge, and he only has 2 albums  

My fave did not tour this year so other girlies are safe  

Gaga has the second highest gross for a female North America tour with just nine theatre shows

You missed my point.  Harry's tour had a 360 degree stage which means he could sell 25% more tickets.  Also, Harry is definitely bigger than Ariana.  He was a major part of One Direction in case you forgot.

Ariana needed to sell 50% more tickets to match Harry’s average gross.

Ariana's average ticket price was 112USD.  In 2021 dollars that is 121USD.  Harry's average ticket price was 129USD.  Harry thus was charging about 7% more which can easily be accounted for by the fact that he is in fact a bigger artist. But Ariana is very much in the same league which is my overall point. 

Harry and Jonas Bros did well. I was gonna go see the Jonas Bros I wish I went mostly for Nick

One Direct was a touring force, wasn't it? And HArry is the most successful member of them all. Plus male singers often gross higher than female. It's nothing new.
