what other teens in recent history had a #1 with their first BB200 charter?

I skimmed the charts from 1999-2021 and these were the only ones I noticed:

1999: Britney Spears - ...Baby One More Time (17 years, 1 month)

1999: Christina Aguilera - Christina Aguilera (18 years, 8 months)

2004: Ashlee Simpson - Autobiography (19 years, 10 months)
2006: Miley Cyrus - Hannah Montana  (13 years, 11 months)

I might've missed some though. Interestingly, Miley achieved four #1 albums on the BB200 at a younger age than everyone listed. Her fourth went #1 when she was 16 years & 5 months. Bangerz also went #1 but she was 20 years & 11 months then.

If SOUR can outsell positions first week, that will be amazing :allears:

And somehow you still manage to include Ariana. We love a closeted fan

What’s her competition? Isn’t it pretty much guaranteed with her streaming lol

21 Pilots, Blake Shelton, P!nk’s live album & J. Coles second week. It’s actually a packed week.

What numbers did it do?

Urgh why did 21P & Blake have to release this week :toofunny3:

174k, which is honestly very low for a follow-up release to a peak era for a MPG. I can see multiple releases this year by pop (and rap) girls outselling this amount first week.

And how is Olivia even related to Ariana? Your obsession is crazy

To you but to Billboard it was a great number especially with the new rule. Also, this thread isn't about Ariana, the obsession.

OT: 150k-200k is my prediction

Anything less 300k would be highly disappointing with the huge and the huge streaming numbers from her singles.

Keep seething

OT: I hope she does 150k. That would be AMAZINGG

I might not be reading this right but her having a #1 debut album and #1 single in the same week at 18 does not make her the youngest female.

britney Spears did this at barely 17 and 2 months.

Stevie wonder (a male) did this at 13 so but not sure it was a debut but Britney's was a debut.

her new song will debut on Monday's chart. her album will debut on Tuesday (holiday on Mondays) chart.

Can someone clarify if i am misunderstanding the message?

I see her pulling 150-175k or maybe nearing 200k tbh.

Yes, you are misunderstanding. Olivia will not just debut at #1 with her album, but has also debuted at #1 with one single - soon to be two. She will be the youngest artist to have a #1 debut (first week) on both charts; not the youngest for the BB200 alone, but the youngest to have both. It’s about the projects’ first weeks, not the fact that it’s her first record.

They mean that she is projected to be the youngest artist with a debut single (Drivers License) debuting at #1 and then the album debuting at #1.

Thanks for clarifying. so its a #1 debut song and #1 debut album not that it's her debut song which was on last year's charts and her first #1 DL at 17 and #1 album at 18 when Britney Spears debut (first single but it didn't start at #1 but was #1 the same week as the album when she was 17 years and barely 2 months old).

Ok, I new I wasn't ready it correctly and missed a few elements

Ok, yes now that makes more sense.

So I wonder if there is a male equivalent but Princess Olivia better get in their with Stevie Wonder and Britney Spears and serve #1 album and #1 single in their teens.

Fill out the trinity, beloved

Huh ? What kind of idiotic comment is this ?

If you think 150k would be good then you re deeply delusional.

Billy Eilish with a less successful singles prior to her albums did 300k so why is this a reach for Olivia ?

I don't care about the girl but seeing the hype , these expectations seem logic.

Billie did 300k largely thanx to bundles. Which 143k came from SEA.

Now that that isnt allowed anymore. 150k-175k would be extremely great for Olivia. Stop trying to use Billie against her. You dont even care for Billie
