PH certs are really underwhelming in the US. The album and singles did a lot better worldwide.

Part of it is because Dua thieved the streams of Prisoner for Future Nostalgia instead of Plastic Hearts which made it tumble on the Billboard 200 faster 

Thank god one of her greatest songs, Do My Thang is now platinum.

Prisoner was never huge in the US to begin with so PH would've tumbled down the charts either way. Idk why yall keep running with the narrative that Dua "sToLe!!1!1!!" anything  Also that would probably be something contractually done hence not in Dua's control, if you want to blame anyone for Prisoner being "stolen" then blame the label, Warner  or better yet blame Billboard for allowing it to count towards the album with more streams aka Future Nostalgia

Chartdata had it at 915k units back in December 2022, so maybe they've decided to wait for it to oficially reach platinum to pay for the certification.

 

Can't believe they certified Do My Thang but didn't bought Wrecking Ball's diamond certification.

Are you implying that the Plastic Hearts album would have been a success if “Prisoner” a song that is a flop would have counted towards Plastic Hearts? The album would have still flop let’s be for real.  Levitating remix is what kept Future Nostalgia on the charts not that flop song.
