This has to be an album announcement surely.

AN album announcement on sep 23, with a pre-order single being release on sep 25.

I think they're looking for a label deal, if only to secure a physical release

I was unimpressed by Jungle, Shook and Weeds. They were fine, but not at the level of the songs recorded under their contract with Virgin.

But Modern Love sounds really promising. I sort of hope they don't include the singles from the last two years, and move on with a new single, and an album pre-order.

1) I want an album announcement; not just a single announcement that comes after another two weeks of waiting.
2) Do not include Jungle, Shook or Weeds on the album. That chapter is closed. Done. Too much time has passed. Just wasted.
3) I need a new song not Modern Love. Yes it sounds solid, but this won't do anything also I need something I haven't already heard.
4) USE THE PROMO THIS TIME.

For real I can't with them. All the tour promo wasted, Keisha's Masked Singer win wasted, hype for new material last year wasted.

Shook was one of the best pop releases of last year so I'm sat

I really hope it's not Modern Love as I am not really feeling the track...

And I do hope if it's new single and it does not come with an album announcement we at least get proper album info. They promised us an album release in 2024 and here we are.

If the album is really coming early 2027 then I don't want the 2025 singles on it. As much as I love them (weeds is an all time high) I just feel as though we've all moved on from that whole era

No, they'll just pretend they never said it was coming next year. Just like they did in 2024, and in 2025, and in 2026.

I genuinely can't muster up any excitement about them anymore. I will support their new era IF IT EVER MATERIALIZES but I'll be damned if they fool me into having hope one more time.

No album is worth the amount of grief they've put us through.
