Do we have a clear indicator of what her connection to Atlantic is? Are they her label? Her distributor? Management? Kinda unclear to expect when we don't know the nature of their contract.

i think Hurricane Madonna is just going to be too strong in those categories for a win (acclaimed album, commercial revival, veteran/legend), but Tinashe needs to finally get that overdue nomination at the very least!

She has Dance/Electronic album in the bag, she might as well make room for it now in her trophy room, but either dance/electronic recording or pop dance recording should go to melatonin in a just world. Knowing how things go, she won't even be nominated.

Tinashe has a partnership deal with Nice Life, a distribution deal with Atlantic in North America, and a global distribution deal with Warner Music Group. The BB/ANG3L era was distributed through Nice Life, while this new album is being distributed and released through Atlantic/Warner. Essentially, it is a three way partnership between Tinashe Music Inc., Nice Life, and Atlantic/Warner.

I am pretty sure Nice Life and Tinashe are doing most of the heavy lifting so far, while Warner is probably waiting for something to stick or for a hit before fully activating the machine.
