the sample (same as too easy) doesn't seem to have her voice on the chorus and I think that's less marketable, no?

No its a stylistic choice as long as the song is good it won't matter

Lol it's not about the tempo. She had success with Nasty and No Broke Boys because they were accessible. The tantrums over Too Easy's performance have been funny to me because in what world would radio ever touch a song like that? And I get the same feeling with Melatonin based off what we've heard. As long as the music is good I really don't care, but it does feel like a waste to sign with Atlantic and then put out a club record and not more accessible music.

I have heard the full song, it's a banger. The club and dance/electronic community will most likely love it. It's seems like a song that will do well outdoors, festivals, sporting events etch but It is too much for Rhythmic let alone top40. It seem at least for now we are getting a cute visual with the single. Enjoy the music and whatever this era has to offer cause so far none of the song she teases are made for the GP.
