Local Weather Report

Since it's been so bad here... let's discuss our local weather.

In Northern GER it has been raining non-stop for 3 weeks now. The max temperature is 14°C.

The weather forecast says that it will continue to rain the next 48 days. But temps could reach a simmering 15° in August.

we were predicted to have a heatwave this weekend in the England , im currently sat outside drinking my iced coffee in 43mph winds , max temperature today will be 12 degrees and its going to rain all day . it's mid June and ive had my heating on every day for the past two weeks . im sick to ******* DEATH of british weather . why the **** won't it act right

Middle Europe. It was raining in the morning and I love rain

rogue2

But the heatwave is coming. Apparently the first above 30C will be on my birthday rip

I'm in Bavaria and we've had amazingly relaxing rain and temperatures between 15 and 20 degrees the past week and a half. I wish it stayed like this all summer. I physically can't handle heat and the sun, I get dizzy, aggressive, and even sad when it's hot and I get too much sunshine.

And don't get me started on getting to and from work during summer heat on public transport. Makes me wanna RAGE and kms, not even kidding.

So yeah, I wish the weather could stay like this forever and I'm already literally scared of the upcoming 30 degrees+ weather.

I'm in South America, in the tropics near to the amazon jungle lol, and this is definitely the hottest summer I've ever experienced in my hometown. As you all know, record temperatures with El SuperNiño are coming—already here.

On my grandma's coffee farm, we also have a snake infestation, and two of my uncles have already been bitten by snakes, as well as two farmers on the neighboring farm. My grandma's farm is in the cold foggy silent hill mountains, but this summer it feels very temperate there. So, yep, the weather has also affected-changed the local fauna. The major cities of my country are havin water scarcity alarms too. So basically, the Southern Hemisphere of the world is going to be heavily affected by global warming, as the maps predicted. rip

It feels like a Never Ending Scorching Midnight Sun right now suburbanmaxresdefault.jpg

One thing I'm concerned about is whether this heat could bring record-breaking rainfall in some regions.
One of my aunt's neighbors went to visit his son in Europe, and he was very unlucky—he got caught in those historic Valencia floods from 2024 and he died there emofish

I never understand people complaining about sunny days DUH it is summer

Agree. Sunny days are everything heart, but.........

Summer in a dry place is nice, and sunshine in a cold place is so good, but definitely summer in a place with high humidity is hell. You sweat all the time, and the heat is really amplified+5 +10. Like florida.

I recently moved from a cold andean town with an oceanic climate similar to the Netherlands, Germany, or France to my current hometown, a tropical city in the rainforest zone, and I hate how your fashion choices here are so limited. It's hard to sleep sometimes. It's harder to focus on your studies or tasks. The bugs. ugh

From the cold, you can escape with comfy clothes and coffee-tea. From the heat, there's nothing. If you don't have AC, you're honestly ******.*** lol
Honestly AC should be mandatory in hot places worldwide lol

But definitely winter looks even scarier than summer. I haven't experienced that yet, but it's a very scary thing to me
i used to glamorize winter with all those hollywood movies about xmas but now i see how dangerous is that season
i used to dream about livin in the new england states-mid atlantic ones but not anymore...
If i move one day to the states im only here for Utah,Cali or those states with not seasons extremes. gayalipacat3

Only 15C in mid-June feels kind of criminal (We had a high of just 11 yesterday biblio) . Been raining and storming all month too.

Been waiting for some real summer heat.
